Denvers D did their job when it counted. Dallas' D didn't.

That's twice this year a team scores on our D late in the 4th to take the lead (or win the game).

Yeah yeah, they only gave up 17 points, but they allowed Kyle Freakin' Orton and a TO Wannabe to punk them when they SHOULD have been putting their feet on the broncos throats.

The defense is "OK", but it sure as heck isn't a championship defense.

Same type defense as we saw against Pittsburgh and Baltimore last December...

4th verse--same as the first.

I think the defense did enough to allow our Offense to win the ball game.

Also, I think Denver's defense was alot better then even the Cowboys coaches thought.

Similar to Romo, Kyle Orton missed alot of open recievers, especially during the 1st half.

just to play devil's advocate for a second here though, it would be nice for the offense to help them out by scoring some points.

let's face it, the D really just gave up 10 points in the last quarter, and that's all.....you can't really put the first 7 points on their shoulders when Denver starts the drive at like the 8 yard line.

they held that offense in check for most of that game, and we had so many 3 and outs on offense that they were in the game for a long time in the 2nd half, and probably starting to get worn down.

now would we still like to see them make those stops? yes of course, but as it's always said, it's a team game, and the offense needs to pull it's weight also.

Yo homie what up bro? Good to see you posting, what's the status with the Army?

You've been quiet.

I think the defense, the offense, I just think that overall Wade is a push over.

I think that Wade's defense and defenses in the past have just been a high light defense. They fly around, get sacks but don't put teams away.

Garrett had a great plan starting out yesterday and completely lost it as the game went on, he just can't stand grinding things out. Newman was in position to make the play, he didn't, but he had a chance to at least make the tackle and now that I'm bringing this up, I may as well follow up.

I've lost almost all respect for Newman after he completely gave up after he was caught on, then juked out, he completely stop running after the defender after that, go back and watch.

Wade should go ASAP, these players and other coaches run him.

Only Dallas special teams did their job this week. The offense was putrid too.

TRADOC sucks. I get to my duty station (Either Alaska or Germany) in about 3 months.

Actually the D-Fac food here is decent. Surprisingly.

.

Both places are pretty cool, which one are you hoping for? Best wishes and keep your powder dry... (Insert saluting emote here.)

Dude! If you get chance to go to Germany...do it!

You will experience some cool things over there. You will like it, guaranteed.

Let's say your offense scores three points in a game. The defense shuts down the opponent until the final minute, then allows a game-winning touchdown after the offense fumbles the ball away inside its own 20-yard line while trying to run out the clock.

What percentage of the blame for the loss goes to the defense, and what percentage goes to the offense?

Defense played great yesterday. You aren't going to win many games only scoring 10 points.

That just hurt my head. Why ask questions like that? As if anyone knows...

If you take a lead late into the 4th quarter and your defense is on the field with a chance to keep that lead and they consistently fail? That's not good enough. I don't give two craps whether the offense is struggling. You came up short when it mattered. Again.

Nobody remembers one week ago, I guess.

And it won't be the last time either.

It will happen again...I guarantee it.

That's old news...last week.

Hate the Cowboys this week.

I've already been assigned to Germany and I'd love to go there but due to family reasons I'm trying to get traded to alaska. The BN CSM has already approved it but he doesn't have the final say.

As for the d, stats don't mean squat when you keep giving the game away late in the game.
