yet he uses 2000 as starting point yet the rams, 9ers and bucs are about 20 games below 500 for thats era..he might as well used playoffs only because we are top 10-11 team since 2000 in wins..facts are easy to find narratives like this easier to bust.. this is why you dont go back that far
2016 for Daks era is as far as i like to go new players and coaches, so much turnover its not smart to use those long peiods ..we are top 10 in wins since 2016..its the payoff lack of sucess that the issue but we sill have large falling because we do win..
Rams since 2000 166 -186 lo 9ers and bucs worse.
the stupid posts on bottom 5 are clueless hater troll fans Bases..not real fans because i know we are winning just not the big ones.KC has only won 12more games then us in the same periods.
I think it’s about how you perceive the question. What does it mean to be the best in the NFL? Once upon a time the Dallas Cowboys’ success was measured in Super Bowl wins. Once the well dried up, the narrative shifted to playoff wins. “Only 3 in 25 years!” Remember that stuff?
And today, you’ve moved down one more rung to regular season wins. You mentioned the Rams. In your perception of what makes the best NFL team, you showed that Dallas is way higher on the list than LA. Do you believe any LA fan would trade the last 25 years of their franchise for yours? Of course they would right? Who wouldn’t? You’re top half in wins and they’re not… right?
Or… or just blanketing a statement about who is better than who on which teams won more games in September of 2007 and October of 2014 isn’t necessarily the best marker.
Teams at the bottom only know regular season wins, so they can only judge by regular season wins. Teams at the top know something more, they have a higher standard to weed out the opposition. Did you know the teams that won the most regular season games in the 90’s are the SF 49ers, the Buffalo Bills, and the Kansas City Chiefs? Do you think it’s fair to say Dallas was the 4th best 90’s team? I think there are some people here who’d take great offense to the way you rank teams.
