In this game, I believe the Texans will be missing one.

Gotta build the trenches....hope Dallas next invests some 1st rounders and 2nd rounders in the DL. D Lawrence is one of many more I hope.

Basically every draft pick next year needs to be on defense with the exception of one towards right tackle.

I'm finally off the O-line bandwagon and now on the D-line bandwagon. It will be nice when I can start thinking BPA and not desperately need.

Mercilus had some pretty good plays this past Sunday, but it was against the Bills. He doesn't seem to be horrible. Teamed with Watt and once Clowney gets healthy and some experience, he could be a factor for them later on.
You surround a decent player with very good to great players and it makes them better.

We said it for our D, in a way, so same goes for them.

However, I still like our picks on the OL better.

I wouldn't complain if we drafted another O-lineman next year (guard or tackle) if the opportunity presented itself.

While I certainly think that defense is the bigger need, I think we can use a right tackle prospect or a guard if the plan is to eventually move Martin.

The difference is that Dallas has 3 hits, while Houston has a hit, a sac fly, and a question mark.

It is much harder to hit on a DL vs OL. Can't blame Texans for not trying. We will be facing the same this coming year.

mercilus would be great as a 4-3 end in the cowboys scheme.

QB to groom under Romo for a couple years?

I think it would be highly inappropriate to draft a QB next year.

Romo isn't going to groom anyone, that's the job of QB coaches. The reality is that as long as we have Romo, we need to be using every resource to win a super bowl with him. If they FO decides for a second that Romo isn't going to lead us to a super bowl, they should release him immediately and move on to the future.

Teams around the league have shown that you don't need to groom QBs. You need to surround them with talent.

The focus of this team should be to maintain the offense and rebuild the defense. Any QB we draft post Romo era will find themselves in a perfect situation to take the team to the super bowl even as a rookie.
