2. Cincinnati - L
3. NY - W
4. Washington - W
5. L.A Rams - L
6. Philly - L
7. Detroit - W
8. Chicago - W
9 BYE
10. Green Bay - L

14 - Houston - W
15 - Jacksonville - W

8-9 it is.

I've had them 9-8 the whole offseason, but after seeing the schedule I can't see 9 wins right now, maybe that will change as the season progresses, but I don't see it right now today.

Help us with the Math which other 2 games do we LOSE with Dak Prescott at QB which Cooper Rush would have won:huh::lmao2:

Juxtapositions are Dak Haters nightmare:lmao2:

no I dont know how you got that out of what I said.
I clearly gave him credit for the win,but I dont think minn was at 100% in that game.
I also dont complaing about people making excuses for dak.
you just did it again...,.............yeah, I am giving him credit, but I am giving an excuse why it wasn't as great, because the other team was tired.....

I am not complaining....doesn't matter. its NFL. everyone has to deal with what they have to deal with week by week. you play the cards and the hand you are dealt.... a win is a win. I hope every opponent we face is tired

38.8 PPG (1st in NFL)
416.2 Total YPG (2nd in NFL)
57.1 3rd down % (1st in NFL)
84.2 Red Zone % (2nd in NFL)

Just dropping by to check the temp on the board and see if Dak has received more appreciation or if he's still just an average QB who we overpaid.
I am not a Dak stan, but with this team, this year, he has the best balanced team he has had In his career and because of the defense, there should not be an excuse now,I'm going to support him and hope he plays out of his mind, cause I believe we really are SB contenders but if he cannot win in the playoffs or has another meltdown like he did against the 9ers last year,I will truly be done with him and rag on him every chance I get,but like I said, until then, let's go Dak,this is your best shot, don't let us down..go Cowboys!!

Dak has generally played pretty good in all the playoffs games. San fran was his worst but he was not the sole reason for the loss. In fact the 16 penalties or 14 I cant remember played more a role. dak was the best QB on the field that day. Poor time management by him and Mccarthy didnt help matters either

He’s not overpaid yet , but…….his contract extension will be huge if they extend him.

He’s base salary is only 1.1 million this year and not much more than that next year

This scenario is reminding me of the Seahawks before they signed Wilson to that big contract so at least they don’t have a defense even close to the Legion of Boom……yet
Wilson was a SB Champs and 2X SB player. Hurts ain't even close.

I agree, but like I said in my post, there is no excuse this year,he has a damn good defense now,if he can't get it done this year, with this team he never will..if Joe borrow can lead that team to the SB,with one of the worst ol in football,Dak has zero excuse why he can't do the same with a way much better team..we are tired of being " next year's champion".

Joe had a good connection with chase in playoffs but he was carried by his defense

Me, I'm going to keep on making excuses for him if he doesn't win in the playoff. I support the crap out of him.

Regarding Dak, the third down number is the most impressive. That’s where quarterbacks make their money.

He’s played well.

Still overpaid.

Needs to keep it simple. Run first and play action.

Correction: The Cowboys are averaging 33.8 ppg, not 38.8 ppg in the 5 games since Dak returned.

Lions, Bears, Packers, Vikings and Giants are all bottom half of the league defensively.

Pardon me while I wait and see what the offense does against even a decent defense
Shhhh that's a secret these Dak Dawgs would rather not discuss. Lol

I actually think the Rams loss in the playoffs was similar to the 49ers loss. Yeah he threw up good numbers in the 4th quarter but his play the first half contributed to the defense being out there so long and being worn down. The defense actually kept the Cowboys relevant in the 49ers game with Anthony Browns INT.

Who remembers when @PAPPYDOG had to post in every single Dak thread at least twice?

That guy was fun. What happened to him?

  • Cowboys formula in Dak era:
    • Rush or over 100 yards.
    • Limit the opponent to less than 140 yards rushing.
    • They failed both categories in the playoff game.

Both games also featured porous run defense
