Yep, good to see, however, this graph masks the one specific weakness (run defense) which against the right/wrong team (eg 49ers) could well be exploited to our downfall. But yes cautious optimism.

Mac Jones, with one of the worst passing offenses in the NFL, threw close to 400 yards, for 2 TDs and 0 INT against the Vikings, with 0 help from his running game, unlike ours.

The Vikings pass defense, like I said last week, was absolute garbage. It’s broken and always has been. Kurt Cousins is just winning in the 4th quarter.

and scored only 26 points with those 400 yards and no turnovers. most were empty.

no doubt vikings are just an average team though. horseshoe came in the form of a return td this time.

Can't help but to see Dallas upcoming opponents Colts, Commodes, and Titans are ranked high on defense. These 3 teams also commit to running the ball. These will be good games to prepare the Cowboys for the Playoffs. Also, Philly is charted close to the Cowboys, but we already know the challenge of playing them.

This is all good........points and 3rd down conversion are huge.

As if Dak was the reason.
Try giving credit to Tony Pollard, Ezekiel Elliott, and the offensive line.
Because if the run game falters, the same old Dak will return, and the losses that go with him.
The difference now is that the Cowboys aren't having to depend on Dak to move the ball, and he gets to sit back calmly and choose his targets.
And even at that he's still choking early. Fortunately for us and the Cowboys, Zeke and Pollard are keeping the momentum going.
