I can see Dak taking a couple of those check downs and going deep. I'm not saying bring in a new playbook but try a couple plays to make the defense think a little going into the playoffs.

I want Romo to play the 2nd half against the Lions....then, I want Romo to play the 2nd Q against the Eagles, before Sanchez plays the 2nd half.

I let Dak start both games to keep his head in the game to to keep the rhythm, but I want Tony and Mark to shake away some rust, just in case.

Yes, I think opening the offense would be good, I do still want us to keep playing the way that has made us successful, but a few more deep pass's a game wouldn't hurt.

We should try the Lucky reverse sweep over and over until it works, it make take an entire half.

Yea, I was going to say in the other thread that Dak should continue starting. I like the idea of playing a half in the next two just to stay sharp and focused but I do not want him taking a game off completely.

Then, we can let Romo and/or Sanchez finish out the 2nd halves.

I wonder if Dak takes more chances the next two games. Will be interesting to see.

We should just go plain vanilla and treat these last 2 games like glorified scrimmages/preseason games.

Show nothing we have been working on and just run basic plays 99% of the league runs.

is there a more generic term than open up the offense? or defense?

The team I imagine is going to do nothing different. I imagine some of the starters won't play the second half at philly and the injured guys like durant, crawford etc will not play until the playoffs.

I hope he doesn't, and don't expect him too. Eli and Wentz both took chances tonight and it wasn't pretty. Much better to take what the defense gives you and protect the ball.

Funny, after the game I watched the replay of the Cowboys/Bucs game and there was one specific play that showed me who Is the better rookie QB.

3rd and medium with less than two minutes to play with less then a touchdown lead. Dak surveys the field, avoids pressure and slides forcing the Bucs to take their last timeout. Wentz checks out of a run play and throws a low percentage bomb to an average receiver allowing the Giants to preserve their timeout.

Obviously both teams won and both QBs are in different situations but that alone shows me how mature Dak is, he gave his team the best percentage to win. Wentz gave the other team the best percentage to win, that's why his record is notorious in one possession games.

This probably has a little to do with coaching as well.
