Dak's performance's have steadily gotten worse. I don't know if there is anything to it or not. It could be simply the teams we have been playing but I found that interesting. Dak had a really good game vs Baltimore, Tony's first game back but since that time, it's been all down hill. Maybe the pressure of having Tony on the bench and feeling like he has to perform to keep his job is getting to him??

Has Romo started a blog about Dak like Bledsoe did in 2006.

Thats about when Romo started going downhill

They've played some pretty good defenses lately

People keep fumbling a few essential realities:

1. Dak was AWESOME in the Commander game. We only punted once or twice. We had zero turnovers, over 400 yards of offense and Dak has a QB rating of nearly 110. Dak could have easily had 300 yards passing but we didn't need it and weren't passing as much.

2. Baltimore, Minn and the Giants all have elite defenses. Lesser results are to be expected for a young quarterback.

So any notion that Dak is looking over his shoulder is not easily backed up. I think the weather and the Giant defense had more to do with Dak's Sunday performance than anything else.

I hope you are right. We will see.

Dez didn't help him out much either, or any of the receivers for that matter.

I don't agree with your realities.

We did not have 400 yds of offense against Wash. And Dak would not have 300 yds.

I would not call the Giants D elite, and I question Baltimore a bit, despite their high ranking.

Baltimore was missing their best corner by far, and it showed with Dez dominating their backup CB who was in. They aren't elite with the group they had against the Cowboys.

I don't think Dak is worried about losing his job to Romo I think he is willing to sit if best for the team. He knows regardless of what happens he's going to be the future the future might get delayed for a bit but it's there for him. I do think carrying the SB hopes and dreams of Cowboy nation is a lot of burden for a Rookie even one the caliber of Dak. I don't think it's fare to him going into the playoffs when he's not fully prepared to be successful. Another year or two in this playbook and learning to read defenses will prepare him for success. I'm afraid if he does play in the playoffs it could hurt his confidence going forward. I think it's best for Dak and the team to let Romo lead this team this year into the playoffs. If Romo gets hurt he's in and I think it would be a different type of pressure for him one he could more easily manage.

could be once dak had the job he let up a little, and then the good defenses came, and here we are.
I think also with tony suited up, it affects him a little mentally.
