The NFC is a weak conference ...

How many times have you heard that! That's flat out rediculous. The NFC has always been a very strong conference - particularly the NFC East, known to be one of the toughest in the NFL.

I'm sure someone on this MB will want to qualify the NFC being weak; and some teams are, but not the entire conference. So, let's have a look, and I'd like you to single out the so-called "weak" teams (justify your claim) ... (in order of weakness, e.g., the #1 team being the weakest) ...

This is my list

49ers (weak)

Cardinals (weak)
Bears (weak/inconsistent)
Giants (weak/inconsistent)

Lions (inconsistent)

Commanders (inconsistent)

Cowboys (inconsistent)
Saints (borderline inconsistent)
Rams (boderline/moderate)
Packers (moderate)

Buccaneers (moderate)

Seahawks (strong)
Panthers (strong)
Vikings (strong)
Falcons (strong)

Eagles (strong)

I don't agree with a weak NFC Conference. HOw can anyone say otherwise?

Commanders (inconsistent)

Cowboys (inconsistent)
Saints (inconsistent)
Rams (boderline/moderate)

Buccaneers (moderate)

Seahawks (moderate... they wer 9-7 and went into the playoffs by default)
Panthers (strong... finished strong... if they are healthy next year they will be strong again)
Vikings (moderate... they DID back into the playoffs...)
Falcons (moderate/strong... it depends on which team shows up)

Eagles (strong)

Any of the post-season AFC teams could have beaten any of the NFL teams in the playoffs easily except for Philly...

Philly and Atlanta were the only 2 NFC teams that would have qualified in the AFC... Green Bay would have needed help...

Because overall in the inter-conference games this year the AFC dominated.

Look at the performances of some of the teams you stated were strong to moderate.

Vikings, as usual fell apart mid season.

Panthers, didnt start playing until mid season.

Seahawks are moderate at best. Lost many games to teams they should have beat. Terrible. Predicted by many to be a force in the NFC this year. Swept by the stinkin' Rams.

Packers, with that D that are inconsistent at best. The rushing attack was nil because the D put the Packers in the hole all season.
