It feels like every other team is way better at getting a game script for their first drive and executing it and we just look lost but try to adjust to whatever other teams are doing.

Yup.....it always seems it takes them a drive to dial in on the opponents offense before the make necessary adjustments and lock down.

Seriously Dan Quinn?

• Cardinals - 3 points
• Patriots - 3 points
• 49ers - 7 points
• Chargers - 7 points

Yep slow start on offense and now in defense too, we are not an elite team which can overcome slow starts.

And remember, the Giants got down inside the red zone on their opening drive too. The only reason they didn't score is because of a turnover.

Right, once teams use up their first 15 scripted plays the defense has been stifling outside of Frisco… be interesting to see what it’s like w/o all the penalties!

Somehow I feel we have to find a way to blame that on McCarthy, Dak and the offense.
We can.....with the D slow start, coupled with the three and outs by the offense puts this team behind the 8 ball pretty quickly. And it's a dogfight after that which creates panic, chaos and confusion..with lots of trips to the bathroom. It's the offense fault.

That changes this week, but due to the curse of the monkey’s paw, they’ll give up a score on every drive thereafter.

It's not how you start it's how you finish.
How many opening drives has the offense scored?
