When does the single game tickets go for sale? Also what luck have you guys gotten from buying directly from Dallas Cowboys or ticket master and not paying more then face value?

They tend to go pretty quickly when they do go on sale. I usually set a calendar reminder for myself and immediately, the instant the window opens, try to start getting tickets. Just have to keep an ear to the ground about when they go on sale. Maybe call their ticket office or something.

I saw some where that tickets go on sale May 1st, that seems too soon. Usually they go on say in Julyish.

Ticketmaster and the cowboys website say may first, ticketexchges like Vivid already have them on sale but I am assuming there season ticket owners selling there's

You won't need to worry about the availability of those, I usually can't give mine away.

Me too. Looking to go to the Pats game, and then to the GB game too. Any codes to help would e greatly appreciated.

Just an FYI.
I bought a playoff ticket this past year game day morning for face value.
I walked about the complex just before the game and there were scalpers out there.
So if you want to take a chance get one on line game day morning as the seller needs to drop price to sell.
I think you could do it all from an iPhone in the parking lot.

Only thing is I live in NC so I would be taking a big chance, I would be booking my flight and hotel and hope to find someone selling a ticket. Would be a great for someone who lives near by though!

If you're coming mid season.
You could track game ticket sales on prior game days to get an idea of what would be there.

I always wonder why I bother being a season ticket holder. You're forced to pay $100/ticket for PRESEASON games, which you can't give away, and then everyone else wants you to send them your presale codes. The reason why resale ticket prices are so high is that STH have to recoup those preseason ticket charges and the 20% haircut they take from selling through the exchange. Greedy NFL. There should be some benefit to buying the PSL and throwing down all that money up front.

I live in Rochester, NY and want to take my son for a long weekend going to the Longhorn vs. Kansas game on Saturday in Austin and then the Cowboys-Eagles game on Sunday night. What is the hotel closest to the stadium? I stayed there once before and it was nice. Maybe 1/2 - 3/4 mile away. Within walking distance to the game.
