this comment came from the 105.3thefan; something similar to that

This was on thefan 105.3 talking about how singletary was motivated on the field and how mcdaniels whole staff was fiery and administring discipline on the sidelines during the games. Did you all see campo shaking his head on some bad plays by the secondary, or the style of wade on the sidelines

Do the cowboys need a head coach that does some rear end kicking with the rest of the coaches administring same? Only coach i see that we have as a rear end kicker is Joe D special teams coach.

case in point, remember the 4 offsides penalities by the defensive line?

like jerry jones said after the game, we stunk, well when are the coaches going to fix those problems like snap between romo and gurode, the 13 penalities, the turnovers like crayton not focused on the team when he fumbled etc.

I know this might get derailed a little bit but I agree with the general premise.

We need a Head Coach with a pulse.

Boy your pumping the Wade hate this morning.

I wish Bill were here so we would have a coach that kicks the players butts only to still be penalised a ton and make stupid mistakes.

let me go alittle futher with this; its not so much that i am trying to get on wade
we all know that jerry jones wants to be the head coach and get all of the glory

remember where jerry said on the alan ball penalty, i cant coach that out of ball
earlier jerry said i decide the final 53 man roster and i decide game time players activated for the pass protection, etc, (thats how duke preston got cut when the cowboys had to cut a player to bring back rb washington) its jerry decision

ok, jerry you want to be the head coach, get pissed off like you said you want fans to be and hold the coaches accountable as well as the players

you cant keep having these dumb penalities, you lose games that way

get fired up jerry, make players run laps etc when they keep commiting mistakes

that wasnt on joe d that was on crayton period
on ogletree its his first start, yeah i know he fumbled, but you have to play to get your feet wet to improve

we also missed a field goal, and newman and crayton made some really bad decisions. Newman's was horrendous it changed field positions for nearly two possessions in the third qtr.

The special teams units this year have been stellar, I am sure it is just a blip on the radar, it was windy and cold.

but if other coaches are going to be held responsible when guys make mistakes, so should decamillis. Even though, again I am sure it is just a blip on the radar. THe special teams have been great and they played a huge role in the carolina win.

They also didn't allow a kickoff return to go past the 30 yard line and had a blocked field goal kick.

They weren't that bad.

I like to study film. I can yell and scream. Maybe I should be coach of the Cowboys. I mean if that's all it takes is some mean faces, yelling and screaming, I could do that.

Singletary: "I wish I had more coaching etiquette, ok?"

Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on October 11, 2009 9:42 PM ET

The 49ers 45-10 loss against the Falcons unsurprisingly included many moments of high intensity on the sideline from 49ers coach Mike Singletary.

During one of those moments, Singletary started yelling at Falcons lineman Harvey Dahl.

Singletary was asked about the incident after the game by Tim Kawakami of the San Jose Mercury News.

"As a coach, I just needed to overlook that and move on. But you get caught up in the heat of the moment," Singletary said.

"I'll put it this way, I wish that I was more . . . I wish I had more coaching etiquette, OK? I don't. I love my players. And when someone responds about my players in a particular way, you know, I may . . . do some things that I shouldn't. I have to get better at those things as time goes on."

Singletary's concern for his composure makes sense, but his players surely appreciate him defending them. The passion Singletary has instilled in the franchise is part of why he's been successful to this point.

The 49ers don't have an overly talented roster, so they will have to rely on emotion and effort to carry them through most weeks.

On Sunday, emotion seemed to get the better of them in their 45-10 loss. But Singletary would but a lot less fun to watch, and possibly less effective, if he toned things down.

Who needs coaching etiquette?

again, folk was kicking not coach joe d.
you didnt see any big returns on us from the chiefs punt or kickoff teams

you didnt see any field goals blocked on us or a blocked punt

that to me is all coach joe d can be held accountable, his players didnt jump offsides on special teams, his teams didnt drop the ball on a fumbled snap

coaches coach, but the players play, that was on Folk, and crayton

point im trying to make, did you see the old linebacker from the patriots catch the touchdown against us? ware pass rushed leaving brooking covering 2 guys, why wasnt that practiced on in practice.

we all know as fans how vrabel or however you spell his name has caught tds at the goal line, to me that wasnt practiced on enough in practice
just like the jumping offsides by the defense, you cant tell me that was a mistake on the players and not the coaches coaching the players right for that. not when the defense gets called 4 times for jumping offsides, thats sloppy football

Yeah, this team needs a but-kicker at the healm. I bet if we had one as head coach that we'd win at least one playoff game during a 4 year strdetch. Too bad a guy like Bill Parcells is not available.

joe I know, Like I said I think it is a blip on the radar.

and again, I only brought it up because everytime someone makes a mistake people ask for coaches to be fired, just pointing out how bad that is and misplaced.

as far as vrabel goes, I am not sure who that is on. Bobby carpenter got caught in the wash and for some reason watkins blitzed and ware rushed. I am not sure how you can single out ware? I have to imagine watkins was responsible for the tight end and for some reason he blitzed?

not sure who was responsible for it, all I know is that over vrabels career everyone falls for it.

again, your missing my point, thanks for agreeing with me, but my point is this
jerry jones wants to be head coach, but in reality he cant, so let jerry jones do some butt kicking on the coaches for sloppy playing by the players
fumbled snap, calling timeouts on bad play calling, 4 offsides on defense in one series, punt return fumbled by crayton;

ok jerry you hired wade and wanted to stick with him, hold him, the coaches and the players accountable for the way the cowboys stunk up the game

if you think you can play that way against the falcons and eagles, your sadly mistaken, you had better be sure you make wade, the coaches and the players aware of this;

Wade gives fist pumps.

Singletary apparently didn't do much film study against the Falcons, though. Whew how about that blowout!

If Jerry wants the credit for coaching why does he continue to say he does not coach the team nor call the plays? I think people come to their own conclusions and after a while it becomes fact in their own mind.

It's not about yelling and screaming, it's about being a leader as a coach that works harder than anyone else & holds himself accountable to the very standards he sets for his players & coaches. He also understands the game and all of its nuances, teaches constantly, exhorts and inspires players & coaches to be the best they can be, is passionate and commands respect not because he yells and screams but because he has developed the trust and respect of his players for the reasons mentioned above.

I really don't think the players on this team have much respect for Mr. Greenjeans.
