Sit down Dak

There are reasons guys like you are on the fan forum like the rest of us.....glad you aren't making any real football decisions!

I championed to maybe let Dak have one more week with the particular injury because of potential issues but he looked good in warm ups and if the Doctors and he say he can go. He's going to play. Get over it.

Well if I were making real football decisions Jonathan Taylor is a Chief, I don't pay Zeke that kind of $$$$$$, I don't hire Jason Garrett.

You give the guy another week off, just like that NFL G,M said. Wow, he agreed with me.

I would have Dak suit up for this one. Maybe let Rush start and see how it goes. Or let Dak go out and get us up by a few scores and have the wheel off. I want to win every game we can. Just in case. But I want Dak healthy. He looked pretty good Sunday night in warm ups. He should be a lot better this Sunday. Getting some therapy and working the soreness out.

if thats the case... lets sit Dak against the Giants, Eagles, Falcons. heck, if we cant beat those teams without Dak... season is over. So even if healthy, lets rest him up just to keep him from injury.

Just one more week that's all, a common sense thing.

Hmmmmmmm? What we don't want is there is Dak third and 12, here comes that pass rush Dak tries to escape, there is a wreck there lays Dak.....because he couldn't run like he normally can.

Let's not lose our minds here. The Cowboys stole one in Minny. Dak needs to play Sunday unless is at high risk for further injury to the calf.

No it's not, common sense is Dak means everything and he has a bad leg, ya don't take chances.

lol...brother man, it does not matter how many posts you make to try and convince anyone on this forum to sit or start Dak...it is tilting at windmills.

We know if it were up to you what YOU would do and you can bark and bark about it, but, hound dog, there is nobody on this forum or anywhere else, media or otherwise that will make that decision except the team. I do understand you concern and share it a little bit...but it is out of our hands.

Dak should be 100% healthy by Sunday.

Play him.

IF he’s 100% healthy, absolutely.

Based on what we now know (which is still less than I’d like to know), he probably suffered a low Grade 2 strain. Unlikely he’s 100% after 3 weeks based on standard recovery guidelines, but everyone’s body is different.

I don't know why we're risking Dak at all. Dallas can beat Denver and Atlanta with Rush, that's 8 wins right there. More than any other team in the division is going to get. There's no sense in risking reinjuring that calf with a bunch of meaningless games. Just sit Dak until the playoffs.

the staff has this on lock, last week Dak would have bullied garett into playing as hes healthy enough to play but the staff said no and i believe they stated in order for dak to play there has to be zero soreness no signs of the strain to get back out there..so if he plays, hes fine..if not Denver's seems to be backtracking a bit..

One other thing:

There’s been talk of the NFL owners wanting 18 games. If that happens, I think we’ll see starters - including QBs - taking a week off as healthy scratches. Not all of them, but I think some teams will experiment with managing their roster like that.

By ‘healthy scratches’, I mean that they would absolutely go in a 16 game season, but are banged up enough to warrant an extra week’s rest to give their team the best chance in the playoffs, against a divisional rival, etc., especially if the #1 seed is out the window.

You play dak if he’s healthy. Just cause we locked up the division means nothing. There is still seeding and a bye chance on the line as of now

If the man can’t scramble then he don’t need to be on the field. He looked ok warming up. But not sure about full speed or game speed.

Yeah they said he was playing and Dak said he was fine. I think they were thinking about it and decided to not even make him active. Will know for sure this Thursday. If he is a full go then put him in or at least suit him up. This should be a easy game. Now miller is gone also. Don’t get me wrong it’s the NFL and anything can happen but when the game settles in our talent should take over. We may see a few players sitting. Cooper and Tyron and Diggs all dinged up.

If he's cleared to play, play him. He's what's best for the team. He gives the team the best chance against any opponent.
