Sitting on the mock of the daaaaay. Not really 5 RDS

Decided to do a quick mock before I head off to go help my buddy build something.
My first mock of the offseason. I used Fanspeak to get an idea of where everyone was at.

RD1: James Daniels OG/C
***POSITION FLEX*** All joking aside. I like Wynn over Daniels, and Hernandez isn't a bad pick, but I think the board needs something new. He's an IMMEDIATE plug and play guard with the ability to slide over and play center if needed. Provides depth and immediately improves our line.

RD2: Justin Reid FS
Honestly, I think Woods gets a chance to be the starter this year. But, in order to appease the board, I grabbed a FS who could play that single high position with range and the ability to create turnovers.

RD3: Michael Gallup WR
IMO I don't think Gallup lasts this long. But Gallup is someone who understands how to run routes and getting open. He has great RAC ability. While he ran a 4.51 at the combine, I think he plays faster then tests. He understands how to stack CBs to get on top of them. Good size and good skill. Gallup is vastly underrated.

RD4: Jack Cichy LB
Nothing says Dallas LB like injury history. But, the guy can play. Medical checks came back positive for the guy. Trust the tape.

RD4: Deadrin Senat DT
Can be a really disruptive force and shows up when you need him. A nose tackle with penetrating ability, "it's a yes for me dawg."

RD5: Kevin Ballage RB
Does a bit of everything. Tested well at the combine. Can block and catch. Has good size and is very athletic.

I understand you took Daniels to be different but could we still get him in a trade back? Picking up extra picks to continue to add talent would be great

Picking up extra picks would be nice. I'm not against that at all. As long as it's not that big of fall back I'm okay with it.

Right, just depends on who is available before we pick or trade back and then what we get in the trade.

Rang and Brugler have Daniels as their 18th best player ahead of Hernandez and Wynn..

Daniels is a great choice but Wynn and Hernandez are better.

If the board doesn't fall our way, any of the 3 would suffice.

I don't think any of them would be a bad pick. I think Hernandez may have a style conflict, but if he's hungry and willing, I think he'll adjust admirably.

Hernandez consistently makes contact in space and I think he is quick enough to make reach blocks. I like him a lot. I haven't watched much Daniels yet.

I'm still in the camp of i don't want an interior O lineman at 19 unless its last resort. in a trade back i would have no problems with Hernandez, Wynn, or Daniels. even if its just a small trade back to 21 with the Bengals.

I agree with you that linebacker is a problem, I think LVE and Evans will be reaches if there is no trade back. After those four it gets a little muddy. You have guys like Jewell who's game I respect, but I have a hard time getting past the athletic limitations he'll face in the NFL. He's got the mentality and instinct for the position, but that tape against Saquon is eye-opening. He'll only meet more players like that in the NFL. So if we don't reach for a linebacker in the first, I think, and this is JMO, the best value at the position will come in the 4th rounds, possibly the 3rd. Ideally, I'd take LBs back-to-back in the 3rd/4th round area and will probably do so in my next mock. And if we got lucky and Evans or Edmunds were available at 19, I'd take them.

Gallup posted a 4.45 and a 4.46 in the 40 at his Pro Day.
