Thats the only thing I am a little worried about, are we giving him too many carries right now, I hope he doesn't hit a wall later in the year.

Sitting Zeke when we have a big lead is fine with me. The kid plays like a whirling dervish every dang snap, whether or not he's toting the rock. He's a beast, but he looks like he has been gassed at the end of the 2nd & 4th quarter the last few games. Tired players blow assignments, fumble, and get injured. I think that his off season conditioning needs a lot of work. Someone should round up Walter Payton's off season workout regimen and slip it in his locker.

Exactly right.

22.5 carries per game isn't exactly "coddling".

Two more carries wouldn't have made a single difference in both goals. If 2 more carries was going to wear a 21 year old down then we need a new RB.

A rushing title shouldn't be a priority. If it happens, it happens. We need to stop selling Alfred Morris short. Great attitude and has been ideal when spelling Zeke. We have depth. Being healthy is a big key to success.

What if he blew a knee out in one of those two carries? You have to consider that. If that happens you can say good bye super bowl.

The rest isn't nearly as important as avoiding injury.

Quite honestly, we have a big enough cushion in he standings that the backup Rb should be playing more, not less, if it can be managed without costing us playoff seeding.

I'm just not convinced Morris is the guy to do it. He has looked pretty ****** in his limited play this year.

That's not what I'm saying. If they made the decision to pull him because the game was out of reach, not even necessarily to preserve him, but just to avoid a freak injury, the number of carries or the amount of yards he has at that moment should not factor in.
