Cally or JG?

We seem to be on the same page more, and a lot more, fluid. I always thought that was lacking when JG was calling plays.

Still not sure if either are any good at it. The new Oline helps a lot however. I don't know about you guys but I'm sick and tired of the button hook. ;)

The world may never know because of the leap forward of the OL this year. Some tend to underestimate the OL importance but just look at poor old Eli and the Gnats stinking up the joint now that their OL completely sucks.

Cally has been more innovative with the empty backfield four receiver set that we broke out vs. Denver. Did anybody notice we were better against Washington when we went back to that? I have a feeling with Murray out, we're going to see more empty backfield.

Callahan by a mile. I don't find myself scratching my head at the stupidity -- yet at the same time we're much less predictable.

2 miles..there is no comparison.

We are going to throw the ball for the rest of the season to win.

Now that we have an OL..we will throw it.

Run to change up but we will throw.

Like the Patriots, Denver and GB.

They pass to setup the run.

And they win.

Without dominating D.

Callahan. I haven't seen WT freak plays called by him yet. You know the kind of play where we trick ourselves more than the opponent.

And the offense looks more organised for some reason this year. We seem to have less pre snap penalties.

There has been a definite improvement in the last two weeks as they went to the spread offense more...if you had asked this question prior to the Denver game, there would be no clear-cut answer...but, will they continue to spread the offense and let room do his thing? that is the question

They also lead the league in opening possession points. A clear improvement from very stagnant openings from last year.

Looking at how efficient the offense has been this year compared to last year per Aikman Efficiency Ratings:

2013 offense through week 6: Cowboys are currently ranked the 4th most efficient offense with a 86.8 AER

2012 offense through week 6: Cowboys were ranked 17th in offense efficiency with a 77.0 AER

http://www.aikman.com/AikmanEfficie...man-Efficiency-Ratings-2013-as-of-Week-6.aspx

Actually tough to compare with just the stats (due to that O-Line from last year). I think Garrett has his fingerprints on the play designs and Callahan is calling in the correct plays for down-and-distance as well as opponent. So hand-in-hand, I like what I'm seeing.

Yes I noticed. I hope the staff does too.

I have always felt the "PLAY CALLING" was not the issue. Garret is not exsperienced enough to handle clock management Team stuff and call plays. The problem for the most part has been lack of execution, umtimely penalties etc. Improved OL and a noticable improvement in penaties is helping-IMO.
