Saw an interesting stat that I was never aware of. The Cowboys held the record of most consecutive years of 11 or more wins (from 1976-1981). Unfortunately the Colts just broke it.
In 1975 they actually had a winning percentage better than an 11-5 would be, since they won 10 in a 14 game season. And in 1982 they won 6 games in a 9 game season and could have easily ended up with 11 had it been a full season. The first two years of the Cowboys streak were 14-game seasons. So their streak is more impressive than the Colts in my opinion (granted the Colts streak could extend). But it is what it is and they technically dont hold that record any longer. Oh well.
