Now somebody has to defend the man who's being pigeon holed into some lucky Whitehead roll around here and that's very wrong i'm trying to make sure that stops before it starts I'm not saying he's gonna be great in the NFL but I'm giving you specific actual facts to why he has an actual chance to be a very good player in the NFL and not a gadget player not just a 3rd down back not just coming out of the backfield to cacth passes..

What you don't like comps I actually think that I did a good job reggie Bush and Ali Kamara two different eras but these guys like Tony Pollard look at their stats I bet people have a memory that these dudes were like 6 foot 4 255 pounds and like the world revolved around them and it's not true..

I want to make sure people had real cops it's not lucky Whitehead it is not deuce lawn this kid has the potential to easily be Tony Pollard but I believe he could probably be better than that but I just want to stop there let's just give him a chance but this wasn't just a 5th rounder that's going to get lost off this roster like Deuce Vaughn i'm telling you he had 3rd round talent and a deep draft of running backs and just got lost just like he did on his own team with too many running backs but when I go look at the stats from Alvin Kamara and Reggie Bush and other guys like that and even Tony Pollard if you give these guys 40% of the snaps and you run them with the right plays jaden blue is very much very similar to these guys height weight speed and the only reason I bring up Jamir Gibbs is there exactly the same even look at their pictures they have the same bill the next size hell the giant head what ended up being drafted higher and on a better team and the better offensive line so I don't want to say he can be Jamir Gibbs but if we get our offensive line right and we get our play callers In Sync and using our guys correctly Jayden Blue has a shot to be better than he's being given credit for it number one..

And you do realize players have been drafted low or undrafted it became great players some Hall of Fame players I mean Terrell Davis went in the 6th round tony Romo and Tom Brady brock Purdy just got paid to man with the last 7th round pick everybody around here wants to bring up the fact that well he's a 5th round pick he's got no chance he didn't do nothing college well that happens to other players too i'd rather have the guy that doesn't have a lot of mileage on his legs..

So yes, I'm a little biased as a Longhorn fan because I watched him play, but I've also did my research and I'm telling you people have bad memories they're thinking of Reggie Bush is some ridiculous player but no he wasn't he was in a very similar position coming out of college but with more hype but then look at his career in the NFL and it's easy to see that Jayden Blue could be that type of player... Of course things need to align right the offensive line the offense itself the play calling how they're utilized it's all matters and sometimes that's how a players end up failing in this league and others end up with a great career it's the team you end up on...

I think the guy is about to peak that's why I think he's about to find his game and he's being underrated I think he's in a perfect spot the fact that he wasn't used a lot he has a lot of life left on his legs and his body and that in the right situation he's going to do a lot of really good things here...

But yes it's my opinion but I'm sorry that I brought real comps into this I showed stats from those others similar players and again if people do us don't see Tony in him, I do, I saw Tony not get used very ofte You know like that 4th round pick named Dak Prescott who was 4th on the depth chart and nobody even really gave him a second thought about being a starter and he ended up rookie of the Year won 13 games and here we are about to break every record the man was a fourth round pick I guess he just should have never succeeded at all, That is how fans think if you're not a first round pick you must be a bust there's no way you could be a great player ..hmmm

size/speed wise, I like the Jamal Charles comparisons

Look that's a nice comparison but why are we just stopped I found the exact comparison the exact height the exact weight in the exact speed would be one Jamir Gibbs now that would be a big ceiling to be predicting for him but you also got to realize Gibbs is running behind an offensive line and in a loaded offense easier to succeed there.
I've already put a better comps I mean he's going to be a Tony Pollard type but look at Reggie Bush and Alvin Kamara look at their stats look at their production look at where they were most effective as change of pace backs being only used about 30 to 40% of the offense and not being banged all the time they were very effective when utilized properly and so will Jayden blue..


I mean Jamal Charles was a great back all the way around he ended up like in every down back even at 5:11 200 pounds so that would be great but I I'm a Longhorn fan and I don't see that in him yet.. If that happened I'd be giddy though I mean yes they're similar size and speed I hope that somehow Brian Schottenheimer in this offensive staff can get that out of him that would be awesome I was just trying to stay down and more of the change of pace realm..
