Stephen “Birth Certificate” Jones has started this week once again revealing his arrogance, stupidity and lifelong sense of entitlement with his comments today about the team taking the off-season approach of being “selectively aggressive”. Nepotism is just another fatal flaw this team has.
 
Someone should ask him about that 2016 statement and why he sounds so different now. Now he air-quotes the drought and talks about how much success we've had lately.

It's just not acceptable in our minds that we haven't been able to win a championship in so long. I do worry about that. I worry about that all the time.

Yep. And that “Jerry’s going to lead us to a championship” comment was uttered almost exactly 12 years ago.

There’s only one owner in sports that would put up with this kind of consistent underachievement.

One of his dumbest quotes was during a radio interview a few years ago when he was told about the negative comments Troy Aikman made about the offense, primarily the play calling. Stephen’s response was that anyone can play armchair QB. I guess he forgot Aikman was a HOF QB. :rolleyes:

Not too many aren't overpaid lol. Outside of Tyron Smith taking an under market deal, the rest of the "core" have been big FA market deals. Outside of Zach Martin and Travis till his sudden retirement most never came close to living up to those numbers.

Same team that gave Jaylon Smith a top 5 year deal while still being a RFA, and of course his whole leg issue.
I can't tell if he's BSing to BS or he actually believes what he says.
