I am just glad we don't have someone like Mario back in the secondary anymore or else I think we would be in trouble. From what I was reading in articles, they think we will be playing one on one in defense.

They have strength at WR/TE that may be an issue - especially Shockey in Red Zone. Tiki is Tiki and Shanle will neutralize him out of backfield.

D can be exposed. We will be able to run on edges and abuse secondary. This may yet be Drews biggest game as a Cowboy.


I don't see this even close and see a 40 spot on the board for us....

Who will cover Shockey? (Singleton, James, Ware, Burnett, Shanle?)

I think Henry can shut down Burress and Newman has had success vs. Toomer (who won't go over the middle anymore vs Dallas, for obvious reasons)

I think we'll win the TOP big-time in this one. BP will probably try to keep that high-scoring offense on the sidelines by trying to establish a running game with JJ, TT, and MBIII.

I like our chances...if the "attack" play-calling is still intact.

I hope it's not Roy or Davis on Shockey - cause they might get abused. IMO I think Shanle would be a good choice.

We have done well stopping the run, except the 49ers and raiders. 49ers, i cant explain that one, but the raiders is easy, the scheme used to neutralize Moss allowed some running room for jordan. and still, not a bad game plan, they only scored 19 at home.

The giants dont have a player like Moss that is going to command that kind of coverage. Plaxico has height, but i think we can cover him, he wont dominate the game. shockey will get some opportunities, but he wont be the game breaker either.

Tiki is the one that killed us both games last year. I think we focus on him, and pressure Eli. Henry or Newman make Plaxico disappear, Double Shockey on obvious passing downs, harrass him till he gets frustrated.

I ssem to remember us owning Tiki for a while, but then he pulled off a lucky (talented?) hb screen and took it to the house.

I like the matchup of our corners vs their receivers. Plex is good but he doesn't have the speed or Moss nor the cajones of TO. Toomer can be handled.

Not if we get to Eli, which I know we will. BP revealed a little of what is to come against the Eagles. I give some credit to Zimmer. He mixed it up and we had some wrinkles that I didn't expect. I expect to see more wrinkles this week. Eli isn't mobile. He should be a sitting duck. Ware needs to be moved around this week, which should get him free to the QB. Burnett being on the field is huge plus. It should not be long before he is included in the blitz package. It is going to be fun to watch these young guys step up one by one.
