I really, really fear Parcells is going to not only continue his newfound conservative gameplanning but go even more conservative. JMO - We do that and this game is OVER.....

First signs of pending doom.

JJ Left - 2 yards
JJ Left - 1 yard
DB - 3 yard pass Witten
Punt

We give up a 30 yard PR

You see Roy and Davis 20 yards deep
At this point turn game off - its over.

Keys to beating Eagles - Establish pass first, attack Safeties (injury there) Mix in JJ draws and pound run. Accumulate big plays and score EARLY.

Defense - put freakin Roy in the box and try and punch the crap out of McSoup. We need to get him, Ware, Shanle, Canty and Spears all over McHerniaChunky. Hit and beat up westbrook/McChunkey. Punch him in pileups, twist his ankle - cheap shots. a 15 yarder late hit might be worth it

We can't allow McLucky to run around for 12 seconds. I really see Glover and Ellis minutes to be way down. We need to see Fergi with first unit. Canty too for that matter.

The game we beat them Roy had key hits and sacked McChoker into a game ending fumble I believe - 2003?

We need to KICK THEIR *** physically. Man on Man - we need to want it more. I can see Bledsoe emotionally leading this game - to victory. Roy - what you got in there? Lets see Sunday.

I agree we need to blitz, but intentionally hurting people with cheap shots is not worth any result. Thumbs up for physcial play; thumbs down to cheap shots.

I don't agree at all this is not the weekend to get pass happy, the eagles are one of the best pass defense teams in the league and to play into their hands is not a smart move. Dallas does need to take their shots but we have to be able to run the ball if we hope to beat Philly

Are you ready for football! Friday afternoon and I'm getting worked up already!

Free beer to all at Texas Stadium up to gametime. Free beer continues as long as Dallas has the lead! That would get the crowd into it!

Should have Budweiser beer tents in all parking lots pregame too to get the fans primed!!!!!

The only risk to my plan is you might get some fans who go off the deep end and act like Eagles fans but at least it would be a hostile visit for the birds.

I didn't say pass happy. I said establish pass early. Take a few verical shots at them. Dawkins is dinged..... But to go Run, Run, Pass aint happening.

Its only a cheap shot if you get caught! Hear your point. But you can pile on and not rush to get off a player. Push him into the turf a little while you are at it. Body shots accumulate - this is football and intimidation is real.

In your opinion. Philly is giving up 4.0 in the running game but when it comes to defending the pass they rank around the top, sacks and TO are not the way to beat Philly. Also I'm not talking run, run, pass I think we have to mix it up and throw on 1st down at times but this will still come down to Dallas being able to run the ball. If we can we have a real shot if this turns into a shootout then Philly have a big edge.

Interesting nicknames ... McLucky, McChunky, McHerniaSoup.

Sounds like jealousy to me. Great way to demonize a star player ... esp one who's not on your team. Is this a way to bring him down to earth?

I guess making fun of opposing players is part of sports ... but let's be honest here, McNabb is All World. We can make fun of him, but we can't take him lightly.

Pressure. Make them make the mistakes. I would really like to see them with the ball first. Let the D dictate early and often.

Punch them in the mouth. Yes intentionally. This is football. It happens.

We can win this.

I agree. McNabb has been playing great despite his injury, I am seeing him make some questionable throws in part because he is having problems moving around but none the less he is still getting the job done and posting big numbers.

Well theres good news and bad news.

The bad news is we cant seem to move the ball and get in postion to score until we're trailing.

The good news is theres no doubt we'll be trailing.

This is football - it needs to be a war if we intend to win this battle. I want to see Dallas teamon a rampage. Frothing like rabid wolves - chasing down Mcnabb all day long. Make him tired and beaten by 4th quarter.....

You may never convince some Nor. It's time to get P'od and kick some tail. It's long overdue.

this is the game where we need to leave our corners in man coverage for a good amount of the game...i like henry matched up with T.O. because of the size factor, and newman on greg lewis? let ROY do what he does best, creep up in the box, blitz the hell out of mcnabb and watch the over the middle routes that T.O. loves to do all the time...the reason why we beat philly in 2003 was because we had FAST blitzers come from the outside (for ex. coakley disrupted a lot of mcnabb's throws), we need to make mcnabb uncomfortable in the pocket and not let him get in rhythm, mcflabb becomes very inaccurate when pressured (ATL game week 1), dat not playin is gonna really hurt us but shanle is a solid backup

Well I didnt mean it in a "cuz we suck" kinda way. It's just that after not scoring in the 1st quarter for 4 consecutive games it seems to be more of a trend rather than a fluke. So I could easily see us trailing say 10-0 or 13-0 early on.

If that happens we'll be forced to open it up some because otherwise before you know it it'll be 20 or 24. I dont think our defense is cohesive enough to hold them to 16 points over 60 minutes.

I'm sure the KC D (and their fans) had this whole grand scheme figured out too. Supposedly improved defense, bein ticked off after the game before, neutralize this player or that player etc etc. But even getting an 18 point lead in their own rowdy house wasnt enough.

I really don't care. Remember how often they'd call aikman gay. Eagles fans are the grand exception to classy sportmanship.

Lets be real here - the reason the cowboys won in 2003 was because McNabb's thumb was hurt and he couldnt throw the ball worth a d%^$ the first half of the season or so. Alsothey did not have TO/ or another WR who could beat press coverage and help McNabb beat the blitz.... Even then they scored 21 points against the cowboys...

The way the cowboys win is control the clock and run the ball, keep the game close until the 4th quarter and hope some bounces go their way.

Either way I hope its going to be a good game
