The Commanders are expected to bring in competition for Shaun Suisham.

Mike Vanderjagt, Todd Peterson, and Paul Edinger are some street free agents Washington could give a look. John Hall is expected to be cut.

Vanderjagt - Highest paid kicker.

And we all know what his performance will be.

I hope they sign him. I really do. His 8,000,000 % career field goal percentage will look great when he's missing everything by a sliver wide right.

we had a chance to sign him when ya'll cut him and we didn't

I'm guessing we'll draft a kicker late with one of our three picks

On a side note, does anyone know if we are keeping Gramatica?

Not a word about him staying or not to my knowledge. I like what I saw from him, though. My hunch is that he will be retained if possible. Provided he doesn't command a huge payday. Jerry's intentions on committing big bucks to kickers is now well known. I'm with him on this too.

Cowboys want to bring Gramatica back but at the right price
USATODAY Inside Slant

McBriar was simply the best punter in the league. His ability to flip the field with his booming kicks proved to be a weapon for the Cowboys, earning him a Pro Bowl bid. A restricted free agent, he will likely get a long-term contract extension. Gramatica saved the Cowboys after they flopped with Mike Vanderjagt, who was sent packing at midseason along with his $2.5 million signing bonus. The Cowboys want to bring Gramatica back but at the right price. Newman was solid and even ran one back for a touchdown. Austin likely replaced Tyson Thompson as the primary kickoff returner with the 93-yard touchdown in the wild-card playoff game.

Would they be interested in Toby Gowin and Quincy Carter while they're at it.

Of course the irony may be that if Vanderjagt performs for a Parcells-less team he might regain his old form. Maybe Parcells was too much in his head. We'll see how this plays out but I bet Vanderjagt will be kicking for someone next season. He doesn't want to leave on this note.

Vanderjagt would probly be all pro with ne other team, i mean dallas sucks with kickes.

a Dome Kicker kicking in a division with no Dome Stadiums... Bill, is that you?

at least we don't have to worry about losing with a last second field goal against the skinz next season. last second kick from vanderjagt always goes right.

Texas Stadium is as close as you can get to a dome without actually being in one. If you can't kick in TS, you can't kick anywhere.

They might as well bring Jose Cortez into the mix if this is a true.

A 3 way battle of former cowboys!

I can't BEEEEEEELIEVE that Ray Finklejact is even on an NFL radar!!
He should be banished to the CFL just on the Darwin theory alone!!!
He couldn't make a field goal if you spotted him 2.5 points!!!!!
I seriously hope that Dallas threw HER uniform, HER helmet and the tail bone pad, she should've worn on her FACE, into the incinerator!!!!!
Kickers SUCK, and then there's Ray Finklejact!!!!!
THEE worst pick-up by Dallas. Ever. Period.

Dear Jerry,

Next time you wanna throw close to 2 million bucks out the window......give me a call. I could show up and suck too!!

/Rant? Not even close..................
