Skins fans blaming the refs again

Just ignore that Glenn had his head around, looking for the ball, lol.

lmao....I like this one.

If anyone has the game recorded, pay close attention to the ball spots. It seemed like the Cowboys always got an extra yard and we always lost one.

Can you say meltdown?:laugh2: Unfortunately some of those comments sounded like some of the things that were being said around here after a week one loss.

It is still early, a lot can happen from now to the end of the season I am just glad we have a competive team with room for growth.

The call that went against Ware on Brunell on their FG drive was ridiculous !:banghead:

I hate overly officiated games and those refs were too flag happy for my liking.

John Madden: "I don't know about that one .... "

Al Michaels: "Helmet to helmet will draw a flag every time."

:banghead:

He pulled up, didn't lower his head ....

Horrible call.

I'd like to go helmet to helmet with Al.

That is very funny since I thought the refs kept giving the Commanders an extra little bit late in the game. We kept stopping them just short of the 1st down but the refs gave it to them anyway. It wasn't a big deal since we were already way ahead but it is funny that THEY thought WE were getting good spots. :bang2:

That might be the worst call ever. Ware merely came around the lineman and Brunell was right there. He tried to pull up and he barely touched Brunell. :banghead:

Over/Under on amount of "Dubious" and "Former (insert team name here), jokes made by me and my buddies last night?

485.

"What a dubious spot given by the refs to Randle El, the former Steeler."

That one and the Ayodele personal foul were awful IMO... I don't know what you guys saw, but I saw Lloyd (was it him or ARE??) catch the ball and try to turn it inside. He got hit by Glenn or Henry I think... but it looked like he was going to keep running. When he saw Ayodele coming, he dropped to the ground. Then Akin hit him and drew a flag. It was all pretty quick, but to me it didn't look like the contact from our CB was going to finish him off.

These penalties were in the same drive 30 yards, and gave them the FG.

Anyone have the video??

I never blamed the Refs for the lose in Jacksonville. I blamed the QB and the defense for last week lost.

Bledsoe rebounded but he better keep it up and no revert back to what he did week 1

Be fair... most of the people in that thread said the reffing was fair and unbiased.

For you, watching your first NFL game ever, I can see how that might be true.

The two that got me last night were the one with Ware obviously and the one on Columbo on TT beautiful run on the outside.

I mean Columbo whiffed on the block 30 yds from the play and rolled over and they called him for a trip.

That was a crappy call IMO

Akin's was a Pers foul IMO amd Rivera did block from the back but was close.

Fot that matter T.O's penalty for the crackback should not have been called because it was one where the defended "ran through" the attempted crackback:lmao2:

I mean please " the defender ran though the attemted hold" - what kind of crap is that. If he ran through "the attempted" hold then there was no hold and no flag should have been thrown. But a flag was thrown so obviously the ref saw a hold":banghead:

I agree with you Roo. Solid post IMO. As poor as Bledsoe looked against Jacksonville, that's how good he looked against Washington. A regular box of chocolates, if you will.

I agree on the Akin call. The wr was touched then went down so he was down by contact then got hit.

TO crackback was crazy but when the Commanders did the same thing later in the game it wasn't called.

I'm still trying to understand the ran through the attempted hold. It should have been off setting penalties.
