False. He bought one radio station, which criticizes him and the team just as much if not more than their rival, non-Snyder owned 106.7 THE FAN.

Snyder has done some despicable things but he's owner of only one station in the area. And they actually rip the team just as much as the rival station.

On a different note...this Russini story has some legs. It's been insinuated on several occasions by various folks she is getting her information in exchange for (ahem) favors.

Someone on twitter asked how she got the scoops, some idiot fan suggested that it was for favors, and Niles Paul (TE for Washington) said something along the lines of "That's what I've been wondering." they are all sister stations. like different offices to the same corporation. either way, your original statement should not have been taken literal because Dan Snyder would have to sell the team in order have that kind of money.

All of those low signal stations just broadcast the same shows from 980. Again, you obviously aren't listening to them to know if you switch from 980, 570, 92.7 or 94.3 it's all the same content. They have some weird method where they think all of those low signal stations spread out far enough will allow them to be heard all over the DMV. It still doesn't really work. 980 is has the highest range and is the source of all the programming. No one who lives here actually think Snyder has six different stations running six different programs at any given time. It is 980 against 106.7.
