Yeah, that's true. I was operating under the assumption that Carriker was actually somewhat good--I had no idea that he has basically become dead weight. I don't think this changes all that much then...........

He will be a 5 technique on the DL, basically a 3-4 DE.

So in theory you could have a DL starting of Daniels, Haynesworth, Carriker.

However, there is still 5 months till opening night vs you guys, so I expect a few more roster changes

Move down 28 spots for a guy who showed some athletic ability and whose former head coach is now d-coordinator, and fills a need being a 3-4 DE.

If Vinny and Dan were in charge, it would have been our 4th this year, 3rd next year and Carriker would already have a 5 year 30 million dollar deal

Carriker has 2 yrs remaining on his rookie contract; Commanders will pay him 1.07M in '10 & 1.42M in '11 (Schefter twitter).
