As much as it pains me to say this, I want (choke...) the Eagles to win. We need Deadskin losses. I wished they would just tie, but I don't see that happening.

At this stage of the season I would like to see the Eagles lose to Washington because another loss this early in the season would practically finish them off. They would have a very difficult time making the playoffs with 5 losses in the first 6 weeks of the season. The Cowboys already have a tie breaker on Washington having beaten them a couple of weeks ago. I'm not sold on Washington.

I would want the Commanders to win. With each loss, the Eagles get closer and closer to not winning the division and not qualifying for the playoffs. That would be one less team the Cowboys will have to worry about down the stretch. All the Cowboys have to do is keep winning and staying close in the standings to the Commanders.

As much as I hate the eagles, I want them to beat our little sisters, the Commanders, I want the eagles to win this game...because the eagles are going no where!

I don't see how any Cowboys fan could root for the Eagles to win. At 1-5, the Eagles would nearly be dead and no serious threat to capture the division title. It would be a three team race for the division title, and the Cowboys have already proven they can beat the Commanders, so if they can beat them again, and take care of business against the other division rivals, they could win the division and be guaranteed a playoff berth.

I think a three team race for the division looks a lot better to me than a four team race. At 1-5, the Eagles' margin for error would be very small. They would practically HAVE to run the table to have a chance at winning the division. Frankly, I don't see that happening when I consider who they have remaining on their schedule. The more teams that fall by the wayside in the division, the better.
