This year IS different.

Sounds like an old record and everyone buys it, including myself. That Stephen guy is right on the money with it. Cowboys are a talented team but they will find a way to screw it up. This has been a playoff team for years. They never live up to their expectations. What new excuses will there be this season? Who will be the scapegoat this time? Is this team REALLY different?

Anyone who takes anything either of these two say seriously is being foolish. The two of them know as much about QB throwing mechanics as your local high school kid sacking groceries.

That local high school kid that sacks groceries...he might play QB as well so he probably knows more. :)

That is an insult to the grocery bag boy. :D

Actually they never addressed the issue. I do find it foolish that someone would post in a thread without actually watching the video. It’s kindof like so many “hard-core” Cowboy fans that have so many opinions on the team yet rarely watch the actual games.

People do it all the time. I post an article. People read the thread title and immediately go in about the proposed topic. Not a new phenomenon.

That said, SAS and Skip's opinions are just not something I'm interested in hearing. Their voices annoy me, even if their opinions didn't.

It is at the point to where we don't have to watch those two anymore. I already know what will be said going in. SAS will harp on Dallas being America's Team and the their lack of success for almost two decades.

Hint to SAS, if you think this team should not be America's Team anymore, then stop talking about them! He is contradicting his point over and over. Someday, he will see the light that Dallas will never go away and remain the most polarized team no matter the results season after season.

I didn’t think it was something new people were doing, i just think it’s foolish. I don’t have any issues with their voices. Skip is usually pretty level headed. I tend to gravitate to those that can have an unbiased opinion. Not many people have that super power. Not saying either one of them do.

LOL I think its hilarious when SAS and Skip talk Cowboys. Its hard to get riled up over SAS's comments because I hear them all the time from Cowboy haters. And it will make it that much sweeter when the Cowboys prove him wrong.

Yeah, I can understand gravitating towards those who express an unbiased opinion. However, I don't find either one of them to be all that unbiased. And for that, they don't get much of my attn, even when it's not Cowboys talk.

What Stephen A. said around the 5:30 mark really set me off. It's not that Romo is putting in more work this season, it's that he's getting an opportunity to game plan. It's really as simple as that, and it's not even a matter of putting in work, I'm sure if in '07, if Jerry let him sit in game preparations and coaches film studies with Wade and Garrett, he very well would have.

Outside of Romo, It's not like what SAS says about the team is wrong. He says we were better than 8-8 last year, says we should be competing for NFC supremacy this year, but they find a way to mess it up, which is what this team has done in recent years..found new and creative ways to lose ball games, blocked kicks, icing your own kicker, throwing picks, blowing 2 score leads in 6 minutes, you name it this team has done it.

Yep, we have found heartbreaking ways to lose. One can only hope that the law of averages will catch up and that will not happen again this year.

And I find it foolish that you think I'm actually supposed to care. I don't watch them for ANY reason when it comes to football. If they were talking about QB mechanics I'm absolutely not taking anything they said serious. That's how it is for me rather they talked about it in this particular segment or not.

I agree totally with everything he said. He can be annoying, but he did not tell 1 lie in his synopsis of the Dallas Cowboys.

Are you going to trust Michael Irvin if he made an appearance on baseball tonight covering pitcher A struggles versus left handers?

These two are as qualified as Pittman4two.
