The bigger, faster, stronger argument is weak. There are tons of QBs bigger, faster, and stronger than a guy like Brees but he’s still one of the best.

Zeke will not come close to all of Emmitts accolades. I doubt he’ll even be a 5 time All Pro. Emmitt has a ton of other hardware too.

Hard to define "better". I don't think it's unreasonable to say that Elliott is more gifted - in fact, Elliott is one of a handful of the most gifted RBs I can ever recall watching. He is an amazing talent that has no true weaknesses on the field.

Obviously, Emmitt's durability and vision are all-time great. It all depends on how much you value certain attributes. Don't think it's unreasonable to discuss though. Of course, there's no comparison career-wise at this point - Zeke will need a decade or more to even start to chip away at that.

I take Zeke over Emmitt - on raw talent - that is as high a praise as I can give

IMO, like Emmitt, Zeke is an every down back who can play hard and avoid taking damage

it is impossible to know how long Zeke can do this ... but he has as much raw talent as any back every - I give him an advantage over Emmitt on speed

He might be in the conversation when it's all said and done, depends if he keeps his head on straight. Zeke's in his 3rd season now and is only 23 years old.

I'll say this, if he's matured/continues to mature and works hard, he'll definitely be in the conversation.

Emmitt was the best running back in NFL history in avoiding direct hits. This translated into a historically long and productive career. That is a skill and a talent that transcends speed and power and other “skills”.

It’s only quantified and visible over an entire career and so it’s overlooked as the great skill that it is. Zeke’s career will probably be over by age 29-32 best case scenario.

Its strange no one has pointed out a huge advantage Emmitt had for a large part of his career - one of the best o'lines in NFL history. I still think Emmitt is head and shoulders better than Zeke, but wouldn't it be fun to see what he could do running behind some of the lines Emmitt got to run behind?
