Cutting Bailey was unconscionable,

#1 - Rueage only begins if someone signs Bailey and that hasn't happened yet.

#2 - Mahar has had one kick and it was 47 yards, which was the outer limit of Bailey's range even when he was on top of his game. I don't have the stats but the NFL average on kicks like that is something like 50/50. Bailey on his best day wasn't automatic from 47 yards.
