Skip "My Dak comments were misconstrued". Shannon "Dak is tough"

We should ban Skip videos from this forum. Seriously.

We'd all be better off not having to deal with his drivel.

While this is true, I think we make too big of a deal about comments like he made. Who really cares what Skip Bayless thinks about Dak's depression or anything else? Best thing would be to ignore him on everything he says and maybe he'd go away.

You can tell he didn’t even authentically mean it. He’s just doing damage control to make it look like he truly cares but he doesn’t. FOX told him to issue an apology and that’s all. Had FOX Sports not told him that, he wouldn’t have said any type of apology.

+1

total damage control - especially since his own Fox Sports bosses felt they had to interverne with damage control themselves .

i say..down with this mutha 4-ever

Lost all credibility, what ever he did have to begin with.
SAS and Skip ..... BFF

Actually, I never ran into Vince, I left Austin in the summer of 2001. I did run into Applewhite a few times while working security/bouncing, always seemed to have a few O linemen and floozies trailing behind.
I met Applewhite at an ADs conference. He emailed me a few powerpoints. Nice fella, no floozies around.....

Third post on the topic and I don't get it.

I could care less what Skip says about
anything

Also could care less if he apologizes for anything he may have said.

You people listen to idiots and then get butt hurt
when they say something you don't like!

You are right! I will not listen to you again. Thanks for the advice.

We can ignore him, but people that are suffering from mental illness may take him serious. I don't see why that is so hard to understand....

The point he tried to make was a fair bit deeper than the idiocy on display in your smart*** response, 'Coach'.

I never talked to him, he always had his henchmen do it for him. Never caused any problems so that’s all I cared about.

You would need henchmen too, if you looked like Garrett. Cause, you know, he sucks!! Lol

Am I bad for finding this whole thing slightly funny?

On Friday morning, Bayless was back on the show, where he said his comments were "misconstrued."

“I want to reiterate some points I made about Dak Prescott and the depression he discussed,” he explained. “As I strongly stated, I have great compassion for anyone suffering from clinical depression, which is very real. If you are suffering from any form of depression, please seek help.”

He continued, "The only Dak depression I discussed on the show was from an interview he taped with Graham Bensinger. Dak said that depression hit soon after the pandemic hit, right after the quarantine. I said [Thursday] that if Dak needed help for pandemic depression, he should have sought it then."

Can't stand those who say the wrong thing then walk it back.
Stick by your words. Own them.

as it turns out football players are not just fantasy football or video game characters.
