a few sleeper picks to look out for.

Stephen Paea - DT

Tyron Smith - OT

Gabe Carimi - OT (This is assuming we stay at 10, if we trade down the chances of landing are much greater)

Ryan Kerrigan - DE/OLB - watch out for this guy

Cameron Jordan - My pick at 10 if we stay put

Janoris Jenkins - CB

JJ Watt - DE - stock is RISING

Adrian Clayborn - DE - not likely

*** Biggest sleeper/surprise pick****

Ryan Mallet. Went to Jerry's school, someone to groom till Romos Ready??? 2 % chance of happening:p::p:

What are some of your sleeper picks?

If we stay put at #10 (or #9) I would like either Paea or Jordan. With Paea, though, that would mean moving Ratliff to DE which he has not played in 3-4 years.

I'm with you on this one.

we need to come out of this draft with a d-lineman that can rush the QB. Maybe lissemore can do it idk. <----i wish he didn't get injured in his chance to finally play, him and AOA. Lissemore looked pretty good when he subbed in.

honestly, I have some work to do. I have been going by the assumption we would be picking 5th or 6th for a few weeks now.

Not to mention I'm sure anyone I name now will either be slotted to go 5 picks higer or lower then they are right now but I like the sounds of Cameron Jordan.

Same here, MAJOR bummer how we slipped down so many picks with the way today unfolded..

I'm actually really intrigued by DT Muhammad Wilkerson, a junior from Temple who recently declared. He has dominated for two years straight. I don't think there is really a consensus on where he'll be drafted yet, but he has fantastic stats and size for a 3-4 DE.

It's not out of the question for Quinn to fall to us...Marcel Dareus should be available.

Possibly. But those players have been linked with us in many mocks. Hence the title.

Stephen Paea or Cam Jordan would both be great.

The only way I approve of taking someone other than a lineman with our first pick or trading down, etc, is if we are surely taking a lineman with the #10 pick in round 2.

I would rather trade down for a pick in the teens and pick up another early 2nd rounder, and go 1. Gabe Carimi, 2a. Rahim Moore, 2b. John Moffitt.

I'm looking for the pray emoticon but I can't find it.

That would be beautiful. Three day one starters.

I'm hoping Rat moves regardless of what we do in the draft.

He can play NT, but he just isn't meant to take on constant double teams at the point. Rat earned another Pro Bowl out of respect, not production.

We can go a number of different ways in the first round and solid reasons can be given for whatever we do.

Some have said Cameron Jordan is more dominant than former teammate Tyson Alualu, a top ten pick last year for the Jags.

Very interesting.

In three picks, you solve offensive line and secondary. I think the secondary just needs a free safety in order to improve drastically. I think our corners are good but it's hard to play very well as a CB when you have basically zero help over the top 75% of the time.

And then if we are able to pry Mankins away in free agency??

Free - Moffitt - Gurode - Mankins - Carimi ? ? ?

I could see either of these two being the pick. Pouncey is another sleeper possibility. He seems to be on the rise (think McShay had him at 19 in his latest ranking). The performance of his brother this year is surely helping his cause.

There are sleeper picks at 10? I don't think so. Those kind of picks are called reaches.
