Same thing every year "this guy is under the radar, he could be a HOFer!"
90% of which never pan out. And great success at some FCS or Division II or such conference is very hard to duplicate in the NFL.
Example - Isiah Chambers of McNeese. I saw him play a lot since I live in Lake Charles, LA. Wife a McNeese alum.
The guy is a good player, and if he was drafted by the Cowboys I'd give him every chance to succeed. But he's a big fish in a small pond, since Sam Houston, etc. left the Southland conference where Chambers played is a weak conference, he was allowed to be "the star" and given choice assignments to rush the passer on 3rd and long e.g.
Sure was nice in 2016 when Dallas had the high pick and we could discuss top-10 players that we could draft. Or like when Landry traded for the pick that got them Dorsett. Now we trade down for players with "potential"...
