Sloppy and unprepared

We just looked unprepared. Some of the players on defense need to get into the playbook starting on the flight back tonight. The constant confusion, and missed assignments on defense are inexcusable.
Super sloppy. They ran the same crap over and over and we were still fooled. How do you not know what Harbaugh is gonna do with a FB when hes done it forever in Baltimore?

Our receivers continue to make stupid drops. Our qb made a terrible int and flat missed cd on a long one. JW get a stupid taunting penalty in crunch time.

Overshown of course hurt himself again. And our lbs cant cover anyone.

This team has a ton of work to do. They were out coaches, and out played.

Schotty pulled his skirt up when he tried to fake going for it on fourth.

The first 3 or 4 games of rhe season are the actual pre season now. I'd just do away with the pre season games they have now, have more team vs team practices and scrimmages and move to the 18 game schedule now. Its happening anyway. The best coaches will have teams ready those first 3 games of rhe actually season. The bad coaches you will get slopfest

I'm still confused as to how a nepo baby head coach is not having more success in Dallas.

:hammer:So much for all that hard work...ect. What a joke. It was all BS. Should have known nothing has changed the minute they sat all the starters during the preseason games. This attitude of trying to save players from injury has to go. We absolutely accomplish nothing by trying to hid players from injury.

Give St. Parker a break. He's never been a DC before and he is learning on the job.

Dallas GM in his infinite wisdom hired the assistant of the HC he fired. Said GM did not bother to make any other calls around the league. And no one around the league called to interview the consultant who failed upward.

Yet somehow many low brow Cowboys fans expected a different outcome this year. It is fascinating how shockingly ignorant this fanbase is.

Discipline and execution. I said it before training camp even started. I say it every year and every year I'm disappointed.
With the talent level on this team? There's no excuse for not dominating teams like the giants. The offense has massive talent except for the guy running it. We have a chance to rebound against Washington. It's a must win and I know it's early, but it's a must win.

Ummmm…pretty sure all of pre season and up to about 12 hours ago all I read was how much more this team seemed prepared. Schotty had instilled a new culture. Everyone could “feel” a different vibe. This year would be different.

Well ot was different alright. Yeah, it’s only game one but we just got beat for the first time in the first game of us versus the Giants in about a decade. Harbaugh was supposed to be a joke, he and the Giants just had their way with us the “Harbaugh” way. They did everything I knew they wanted to do but didn’t think they could.

We got beat. One game and game one shouldn’t cause us to hit the panic alarm but it sure as **** isn’t what most of you thought it would be, myself included.

It's exactly what I thought it would be.

Keep in mind it is week 1. Pretty much anything can happen. No team is the same 5 weeks later.

You guys keep over rating our talent. Yeah, I thought our receivers should have been better but other than that my biggest concern was if the Giants DE and LB’ers could get enough pressure on Dak to negate their ****** corners, which is exactly what they did.

There were also cowboys fans who talked **** about their interior DL and how muchqorse they would be against the run without Dexter Lawrence. I posted stats how DJ Reader was better against the run than Lawrence last year and how he was double teamed more than any other player. I brought up concerns about their new LB’er (Reese) who we didn’t know about and Edmunds who was really good against the run.

I thought we would win but I didn’t dismiss them like some of you and you’re still making excuses “there’s no excuse for not dominating teams like the Giants”. Really? No offense, but the arrogance of you fans like yourself and the players is why we still suck. We got man handled, we had penalty after penalty go in our favor and still got beat. We got out played and out coached. Our talent isn’t all that.

The D was atrocious…..open giants everywhere all night. Cam running though folks. Same plays on us over and over and no adjustments….it was Elton John’s bath water nasty.

Dude, I was worried. I knew we could get beat and wasn’t shocked per say but I didn’t think we would get beat like that. I thought maybe we would lose in a shootout of sorts or due to a “lucky” bounce. To put it bluntly, we got dominated. We had a lot of calls go our way and NY controlled the clock more convincingly than I thought they would or could. They didn’t get lucky, they made play after play and methodically drove the ball down the field on the ground and through the air.

It was a damn embarrassment and hopefully not a sign of things to come but it certainly wasn’t encouraging.
