18 Penalties, a new franchise high.....
No way you are going to win without Romo going forward playing such undisciplined football, and yes I am talking to you Bailey !
What the heck were you thinking grabbing Murray ???
A lot of the penalties were due to refs that wanted to make the game about themselves and that includes at least 1 of the penalties against the Eagles.
Tyron was lined up where he is always lined up on the play they flagged him to being off the line.
Many officiating crews would not have called the penalty on Bailey.
Some of the holding calls looked bogus. I'll be able to see it better when the All-22 comes out, but I'm fairly certain several of them would not be called by some other crews.
I need to review it again, but it seemed that the delay of game whistle was blown before I saw 00 on the play clock. I've gotten to where I watch the play clock closely because of how Romo runs to so close to zero. Most refs will let it hit zero and then basically give it about another second or half-second but that was not the case with this officiating crew.
They also screwed up the Escobar TD or non-TD play. The tip of the ball only had to cross the front edge of the white line. It seemed obvious that it was definitely over before his shin touched down.
