Romo actually stepped on Tyron's foot. Not the other way around. However, if you watch the entire play, Romo actually steps up into the pocket. I guess he felt pressure and that's why he stepped up just a bit but honestly, he probably could have stood right where he was and been fine. IDK.

He had to step into the throw. If he keeps his feet planted (poor footwork), his accuracy would be off and his power would be off. When he stepped up into the pocket like he was supposed to, his foot got tangled up with Smith's and it messed up his throw.

Plain and simple. It sucks but Romo was magnificent yesterday.

Magnificent.

Yeah, he was. I don't really put this game on him because I think we probably let him down in how we managed the game over the last few minutes, again. Also how our defensive scheme played against their O. It sucks that Romo will get the brunt of this because he really did play one of the best games I've ever seen from a QB. He outplayed Manning and lost.

On a side not, if he doesn't step up, he probably sees Murray and makes that throw but who really knows? It's over.

It just kills me that the best game Romo ever played will be remembered as a choke job. Romo messed up on one play; the defense messed up on probably 50 plays, and Romo gets the blame. Just sad. Sad, sad, sad.

Yes. Is that against the law? Should I not do that because, why? We lost but what's more disturbing to me is not this loss. It's the San Diego loss. Not many teams can hang 51 points on us but a lot of teams can execute the game plan the Chargers did. The D is the bigger problem but we know that. What we have to do is help them and I think that means using the running game more.

The game plan was working, there was no need to change it at that time. There are a multitude of variations on what could have been done as we look at it now, but at the time, Romo was doing pretty good - Cowboys made the Broncos sweat with their aerial attack. Can we at least agree on that?

Romo will get the brunt of this from idiots, talk radio hosts and people who don't understand football. Or from people who didn't actually watch the game.

Any other team besides that Manning let Denver team... and I do mean ANY... gets blown out by Dallas and Romo yesterday. He eviscerated a very good Denver defense. Just tore them a new one.

Personally, I think this game is a springboard for this team to do really good things this season. At least on the offensive side of the ball.

Did it cause him to throw into tripple coverage too?

I was leery when I first heard about this...as it did sound like a handy excuse. But when you see the footage and consider how the Bronco defender had to dive to make the interception...I think it's entirely plausible that if Romo isn't stripped of the momentum of the lower body...that the throw threads the needle w/no defender touching it.

I think that we will make the playoffs because I think our division is crappy and we can beat all of them with just our Offense, so long as we don't turn the ball over. However, once we get into the playoffs, I think it's a different story. Anybody who can play some Defense and run the ball is going to be tough for us IMO.

They are just figuring things out on offense, and have - truly - an amazing amount of weapons on that side of the ball. If the defense can figure anything at all out, we will be incredibly difficult to beat for any team.

Denver was damn lucky to get out of AT&T stadium with a win, and they know it.

Of course, I have said all along that I thought Romo played as well as he has ever played. I have said all along that I do not put this lose on Romo. If you are asking me if the INT was his fault, then my opinion is yes, it was. Not entirely but yes. If you are asking me if the lose was his fault, then no. Not even close. This lose, IMO, was on the defensive scheme, our failure to account for the backs in the offense and the fact that we did not use the run more. I believe without a shadow of a doubt that if we had run the ball on that last series, we would have gained a 1st down and who know from there. You don't have to run it 50/50. Had we done that, we surely would have lost but, you can't allow the opposing defense to just tee off on the pass either. You know why Denver was able to get push with just a 3 man rush? Wolfe, Vickerson and Knighton are all massively strong and huge. If you just allow them to do nothing but power rush you, then they are going to get push. If you don't force them to honor the threat of the run, then you play right into their hands and I think that's what happened to us on that INT.

That's just my opinion.

And what reason would an OC ever have for not calling the RBs number if the backs are clearly open all day? What is the priority when you are on your own 20 in a tie ball game? What's the 1st objective?

It never stopped Peyton from throwing to his RB when he had pressure. He went to Moreno early and often to burn us.

Anyone who thinks Romo is to blame for that loss after throwing for over 500 yards, 5 TD's, and scoring 48 points when the Dallas defense literally allowed a score everytime Denver touched the ball... well, to put it bluntly, they are an idiot and really, who cares what they think anyway.

I know it gets annoying watching TV and listening to that crap, but man, don't even let it bother you. They don't matter at all. The guys who matter are at Valley Ranch and to a man, they believe in Romo and know he is their ticket to any post season success.

Chin-up bro, and ****'em all.

Perhaps, but 1st and 10 with 2:39 left in the 4th quarter, on our own 20 is exactly when you want to try and run the ball. In fact, the last time we did run the ball was with about three and a half minutes left in the 3rd Quarter. We didn't run the ball once in the 4th quarter and it wasn't as if we were way behind. I understand they were ranked highly against the run but we had success in the run game on them. What they did last week should have no barring on what we can or can not do when we play them. If we can run the ball, then we should. At the very least, we should run it to keep them honest. Had we ran the ball on 1st, that pick never happens IMO because they don't ignore the run. Their LBs don't just drop straight back and their DLs don't just crash. They have to check the run and that allows Romo more time and it also allows the OL to be more effective.

I think that was a fatal mistake on our part.

Okay. Fair enough. I see your points.

It also looks like Escobar should of ran his route a bit flatter so the LB couldnt cut it off he was kind of drifting down the field. Either way, it probably wasnt Romo's best decision but Im not sure picking up a 3rd and 16 is going to result much different than us punting to Manning and losing by a FG.

Romo CHOKED. Nothing new. Great game until it counted. We have seen this from him for 6 LONG years. Chin-up. We will win some more games. But we will not win a Super Bowl as long as Romo is the QB. Sorry.
