Snacks Harrison. Is it time?

He looks bad to the bone to me! I don’t know why they wouldn’t look at him.
The season starts in 3 weeks.

Somebody will sign him.

With McCoy's money available, I think you fix the position and see how the defense forms.

It would be a one year deal, Snacks gets to play for a starter job immediately and give him incentives.

He is looking for one more deal. The situation with needing to protect players is being handled in Dallas.

For 2020, Snacks could do alot worst than here and if he plays well, he could end up at least with McCoy's deal next year.

I would strongly consider it.

Red, if Snacks signs here for 1 year, stays healthy and actually does well, as you suggested, he definitely will get McCoy's 2+ year deal next year. I can already see him getting approached by some "snacks" commercial food company and come out eating snacks promoting said company in their commercials while wearing the Cowboys uniform. ;)

As they say..

From your mouth to God's ear.

The team seems to know how to structure deals to allow players to make a move to come here.

Dalton made the move looking for being close to his family while we all wait it out for things to get better..

McCoy obvious thought given his quad issue his contract was fair.

Snacks must have some uppermost thing he needs other than just his contract.

Dallas needs to talk that out and see if an agreement can be found.

We can use him and he could use us if he intends to not opt out.

We'll if they do that means running up the middle with poe and snacks is over.
Not necessarily because with two big boys that are slower on their feet it would be much easier for the OGs and Center to get off the line first and get in position for the block. Sure those guys would be a load to block, but particularly on quick hitting runs up the middle the first reaction and best position is all that is needed to open the hole.

Then there is the fact that it would hurt the pass rush to not get the penetration in the middle like they expected from McCoy, plus it would hurt the opportunity to chase down plays that aren't run directly up the middle.

There actually is a reason teams don't typically have two 350 lb DTs.

Snacks and Poe.

Honestly, I think Snacks probably costs too much. My concern is not if Poe can get it done, I think he can. I just worry about for how long. I think you need two to three guys that can rotate and step in if injury strikes.

Woods is the backup 1 tech. Sure he is a drop off from Poe, but all backups are a dropoff from the starter. But he does have starting experience, so he's not a bad option.
