Twitter: Snap counts for lions game

Some interesting snap tidbits from Sunday’s game vs lions:

• Tony Pollard had 41 snaps and Zeke had 31 of a total of 63 snaps. First time I remember Pollard getting more snaps.
• Rookie WR Jalen Tolbert had 1 snap on offense. At least he’s on the game roster.
  
• Rookie CB Deron Bland had 7 snaps; Kelvin Joseph had zero snaps. Will be interesting to see who gets more playing time with Jourdan Lewis out for the season.
  
• Rookie DE Sam Williams only had 14 snaps but wow did he make them count. He had 3 solo tackles (2 of them TFL), 2 sacks and a forced fumble. He is earning more PT.
• Trysten Hill had 17 snaps but did not register a single tackle.

What else stood out?

Sadly I think the only reason Pollard had more was when zeke went out for a while because of his knee.

If they are really turning the corner of getting Pollard out there more, then I would be shocked.

Trysten hill is so freakin bad. Schultz should be getting less snaps then ferguson. Sam williams is a really good player. No reason he shouldnt be taking snaps from dorance who has one of the lowest pass rush win rate % on the team.

I am excited to see Bland get some time in the slot. I also am worried that if Anthony Brown looks this bad and joseph cant take any snaps from him

Bland will be the starting corner opposite Diggs next year. Bold prediction right there.

I think bland is so good in the slot i would just get an outside corner either in FA or the draft

And he would be just as good outside and he will be more needed out there with Brown gone. Easier to find a slot guy than an outside guy.

They're not putting him in, they obviously don't like something he's doing

They can't trust him him to do the right things on ST without penalties imagine him playing defense.

From his limited snaps he has played well in the slot. Pump the brakes all u want but i think he can fill Lewis' shoes if not be an improvement

I dont think he will be just as good outside. If he is playing well someplace just leave him there

I thought they'd put in Joseph after the injury to Lewis, they need to release him and call it a day

Joseph doesn't play the slot. Bland is the direct replacement there. When Diggs went out for several snaps earlier this season, Joseph took his place.

When your 2nd round pick is in his second year on only playing ST snaps, something doesn’t add up. It’s not too late but KK has to be on busy watch. 2nd rounders have to contribute more than just STs.
