Snap counts from giants game.
Some things that stood out:
  • Cowboys had 75 snaps to 64 for Nyg.
  • Sam Williams up to 26 snaps and looking good doing it.
  • Tony Pollard had more snaps (44) than Zeke (38) but Zeke was more productive this game.
  • Deron Bland had 58 snaps at corner.
  • Jaylon Tolbert had 4 snaps. He didn’t line up off sides so it was an improvement.
  • Damone Clark had 46 snaps and looked very active.
What stood out to you?

I love how we rotate on defense. Parsons only getting 2/3 of snaps was interesting. No DL gets a higher share than that. I don't know that we have seen such a deep rotation in use since well the 90s glory days.

All 3 safeties see a fair amount of time on the field.

LVE clearly gets a lot more respect from his peers and coaches than he does from us fans.

Most interesting numbers are 1) Pollard with a slight amount over Zeke. Down and distance apparently favor Pollard. 2) Micah snap count in general. Would love him on every play but it's a long season and his health down the road plus playing on passing downs is most important. 3) Jabril Cox got 4 snaps! 4) Sam Williams snaps continue to climb. Good to see.
