Things that stand out:
  • Cowboys 75 snaps, Jags 70
  • Amazed that Tyron Smith played 54 snaps in his first game in 11 months.
  • Kelvin Joseph played 37 snaps- about 10 too many.
  • Tony Pollard 41 snaps; Zeke 38. Together at same time for 4 snaps. Should be more.
  • Dorance Armstrong only had 14 snaps before leaving with his injury.
  • Josh Ball had only 1 snap. Speaks volumes about how little they trust him.
  • DLaw had 48 snaps. He’s playing with a bad foot and it shows.
What else stood out?

Kellen decided to go a lot more 11 personnel with Ferguson out. Now with TY getting ready to play I look for this to be the norm.

Barr played way too many snaps, but they didn't have anyone to relieve him..unless you count Gifford. Interested to see if DQ plays Jabril Cox has decent number of snaps. I'd rather live with a young players mistakes than watching a veteran's play fade.

Good observations.

Really? After seeing bossman fat soil his pants for a few games? If the coaches think Jabril ain’t ready I’m going to trust them. There is a point where a fading player is still better than a rookie making mistakes. People wanted bossmanfat in so bad, and yet he never really showed in his time that he is ball hawk or cover corner. Brown was bad but had shown in the past he can make plays here or there. Bossmanfat has had decent opportunities and hasn’t made any plays but has given up a TON

Armstrong was back on the field after his injury. I saw the back of his jersey on the OT drive I believe.

I got really excited when I saw Zeke and Tony out there at the same time and then it just disappeared.
Which one are you gonna defend Zeke up the middle or Tony with the pitch or wheel route

If you can choose between 2 future HoF players at RT then that's not much of an indicator about Josh Ball. How many players in the NFL would be better at RT than Tyron Smith?

Joseph only gave up 2 catches in 37 snaps. The catches just happened to be TDs...

Ball played TE on a short yardage play.

Joseph

Reminds me of the Houston game and Ball. He only had 2 bad plays. One led to a fumble and the other to an interception.

LVE got hurt and that is a big reason Damone Clark was on the field so much. Not that anybody should complain about that.
