Snap counts vs niners

Here are the snap counts from last night’s loss to the niners. Some things that stand out…

• Backup CB Amari Oruwarlye only had 26 snaps but had 8 tackles. And he was the team’s second leading tackler. SMH.
• Contrast the above regarding Oruwarlye with Trevon Diggs who had 5 tackles in 67 snaps.
• Dalvin Cook only had 17 snaps out of 63 offensive snaps.
• UFA TE Brevyn Spann-Ford had 19 snaps compared to last year‘s 2nd round pick Luke Schoonmaker, who had 2.
• DeMarvion Overshown played all 68 snaps and was a bright spot where there weren‘t many.

I have more confidence in both of Dallas' backup safeties than I do the starters.

I dont know that we have many players that actually deserve snaps. Pretty much our entire defensive line should be deep depth. We could probably change things up at S, and it would be nice to give Flourney a real look over Brooks (who has done nothing). However the results would probably be the same
