This game was such a blowout, so the snap numbers are all over the place.
Some interesting tidbits:
  • Cowboys had 73 snaps to WFT’s 60.
  • The only Cowboys player to play all 73 offensive snaps was interestingly…Connor Williams.
  • Kelvin Joseph saw his first major action (other than STs) with 57 defensive snaps.
  • 21 different offensive players got playing time; 23 different defensive players got snaps.
  • Maurice Canady also got some defensive snaps in late.
Blowout games usually give lots more players some playing time. Hopefully those snaps have value.
Any other observations?

One noticeable issue is that there were no snaps for backup LBs.
- Most other positions had snaps for the backups in the 4th quarter.
- Gifford and Bernard were both active for the game.
- Those 2 plus Special Teams Ace Goodwin were the only players that didn't get non-ST snaps.

It stood out to me that Williams goes from benched to 'irreplaceable' pretty quickly.

And Kelvin Joseph got a whole lot of playing time and experience and looked good doing it.

It's also notable that Quinn is rotating his defensive linemen so liberally, keeping them as fresh as possible.

I thought I saw Nsekhe and Steele rotating some at left tackle as well? Can anyone confirm that?

Yes saw Nsekhe in the lineup, not sure how much of a rotation but he did get some playing time in the game

The previous game is the 1st time that I thought Parsons looked gassed at some point during the game.
He came from a short college season to a complete year off
17 games is a huge jump
We need to get him more time off

The Williams issue should indicate the fans here truly don't understand Williams contributions at all. It's like they never heard of Flozell.

The fact the team can rotate defensive linemen is just a page out of Jimmy's playbook. This will pay dividends when the grind of play-off games gets to the fourth quarter and Dallas is still hauling out fresh linemen.

Good rotation and our pass rush and pressure looked good most all game. I hope we can get starters some much needed rest before the big party starts..

What are your guys thoughts on Cooper Rush playing in 16 % of the offensive snaps on Sunday? Are the coaches dumb? Is this something we will see in the playoffs too? I'm not a fan of this type of coaching.

it is the best move, I’d expect him to get at least 80-90% of snaps by the time we hit the super bowl ! Rest Dak and have him play 1-2 snaps a series.

I was watching him closely. He doesn’t get all out of breath he just loses that emotion. He looks Methodical. He still plays better than most. It’s so Freak-ish

A couple of times I start of the post like this. But I don’t have the elegance you have. I’m so thrilled that we actually have the rotation for Energy alone.

Snaps for McGovern at C. They may give him a chance to compete for C next year. We're gonna need to bring in a couple of interior olineman with WIlliams gone and MCGovern in his contract year.
