Bad call...but the team and coaching lost that game. I’m not putting that loss on the refs, that lets our crappy team off the hook

What happens now? Does the defense jump offsides every time L.P snaps or does he change his technique? What about the next 55 yard field goal attempt? He's not changing now, he'd done it the same way for over 10 years. As of Nov 2017 he had never missed a game and made clean snaps on 873 punts, 387 field goals, and 550 PATs, in a row including the playoffs.

NFL is going to have to admit they screwed up and they should (they won't) investigate the ref who made the call... Like maybe his ties to Vegas bookies or maybe he's a closet Skins fan who knows.

No doubt.
A center absolutely is allowed to adjust the ball slightly. He's an all world long snapper who does that exact same thing every single time...yet they called it yesterday.

I too thought it was a bad call. But the good coaches I had growing up always taught us that blaming the refs for a loss is for losers.

That was a harmful call, no doubt, but only one of several things that hurt us. Penalties that negated big plays, Dak's goal line fumble, and the inability to establish a running game were also killers.

It was a ridiculous call. The worst I've seen in some time.

But it shouldn't have come to that if they run more than two plays in the final minute of the game.

It was a bad call and the official should be reprimanded...........that said, in Maher's own words, that 5 yards shouldn't have affected the kick.

Yes, and there was also an illegal block in the back against Washington that was not called on their long TD screen pass. It was ridiculous. Not even the announcers mentioned it, but the defenders hand was right in the middle of the numbers of our defender...I think it was Lee.

It was Frazier and it was blatant. We were just called for one last game or the game before that was close to being in his side and not on his back.

It was obvious to anyone who has ever played the game. I am not sure how the refs missed it, but in fairness, they missed a few other calls that would have worked against us.
