I'd like to make a comment, but don't feel like being bashed for being "negative," so let's pretend I typed out the long list of great things this team has going for it before I say that Neal has been a little disappointing.

The Kearse steal has more than made up for it....just thought that Neal was more of a playmaker than he appears to be.

Hasn't been awful, but he is on a one year deal and not sure he is a candidate to return.

I only saw Joseph a few times in the game but he did not embarrass himself at all. I thought he showed exceptional closing speed on two plays I saw but that is a small sample. The key is, if they throw at him how does he do?

Now that is rotation at it's finest. Keeping them fresh and ready all game long.

I don't think anyone would argue with you.
Neal has at best been workable and Kearse should be a Pro Bowler. He uses his length so well in both coverage and pass rush plus just never misses tackles.
Kearse is a must sign.

Was really good game to get Jospeh more experience.
TB grew into their defense last year and we look to be doing the same.
I'd say we may have the top defense in football right now.

Nice to see Wright get some run too. Didnt notice him out there, so I guess thats a good thing

People keep saying that he played well but while I saw him out there and there were not really any completions given up against him I cannot recall any plays he made.

Granted I was paying more attention to Wilson who has great range still and the front who were just dominating. Diggs stood out to me. His hand placement in coverage has taken a leap. He consistently had a hand on the shoulder pads and his coverage was elite.

He has been serviceable, but I thought he might be more of a playmaker.

In general, Neal has been the coverage specialist LB and LVE have been the Run Downs LB.
- They both play if Parsons is at DE.
- Neal has played 61% of the snaps this season.

On paper, Jabril Cox projects to play that position in 2022 (Coverage LB).

Neal played on a 1-year, 4M contract.
- They'll probably offer him 1-year, 2M for 2022 and let him make the decision to stay or leave.

Hopefully the defense will get even better once Hooker takes some snaps from Kazee

Six rookies on Defense got Snaps. I even saw Farniok get snaps during garbage time. One hell of a draft.
