Stat line for tonight: 4 tackles (3 solo), o sacks, 0 TFL, 2 qb hits. By comparison Bernardrick McKinney had 12 (7), 1 and 1.

JJ Watt is a game changer. Von Miller is a game changer. Clowney is a JAG.

That's fine maybe it was a bit of an overstatement but I still think it's asinine to say the Texans aren't going to pick up his 5th year that's absurd. He was out his entire rookie year so last year was basically his rookie year and I believe he missed some games there too. Admittedly if the injuries continue they're a concern going forward but he's playing well right now.

They didn't pick up Mario Williams' option a few years back, and he was light years better than Clowney has been to date.

Thats an odd line to draw in the sand. Why does a specific type of tackle for loss weigh more? He has been outstanding.

Odd? Sacks have always been more highly regarded. I was looking at both TFLs and Sacks combined and he isn't leading the league in that combined category. He is up there, but there are several defenders that have more. He hasn't been outstanding. He has been good.
