Dez is suppose to be the stud WR, but they easily take him out of the game. Fitzgerald, Boldin, the Johnson boys continue making plays no matter who is covering them.

It's the first quarter. Calm the heck down.

Why force into double coverage when you got Miles and Witten. That will be the reason Dez will not get 2000 yards imo.

Nothing wrong with the play call. Williams got muscled out of the slant and just gave up the inside. If he had persisted with the slant route the worse would have been interference. Stupid play by a rook.

He didn't get outmuscled he gave up on the route and never looked for the ball to booy.

Three turnovers but I don't think you can count on a score from the turnover deep in our own territory. That one kept a score off the board. You can't expect the Cowboys to march 95 yards to score off that turnover. So that's a wash.

If this is rooms gameplan-ive seen enough. Same old team that goes out of its way to not score early.

I know Williams read it wrong, but what is the point of a 3 yard route vs bump coverage on 3rd and 11 to begin with? The stop and go was probably an easy TD.

Not a 3 yd play. If the CB hadn't jumped the route then that would have been down to the GL or better. The question to ask is why did the CB jump that route?

yeah, burn a TO

Actually, point for Garrett. That's a pretty important down there to keep a drive going and take momentum back. That was a good place to call timeout, so maybe giving up play calling duties has helped Garrett in that respect.
