Yes they would because both are allowed and part of the rules.
never saw any coach do that before.
i don't believe for a minute that they would allow mccarthy to change his mind at the last second like that...rule or no rule.

LOL! Yeah, I'm some big Eagles fan. Is that what stating the obvious makes you? We'll be playing them the 2nd to the last game in a division they'll probably have locked up. Why would they play that game to win? They'll probably be resting their starters. I just applied simple logic. So yes, we'll win that game unless we quit.
Sound logic… and yes, I am an Eagles fan, but I think you stumbled upon that one by accident.

Keep in mind the Birds could have something to play for pending how their season and the Lions season plays out.

That's right somebody made that point, and it's a good one. The Eagles were also fortunate to get a guy that's in football shape off the waiver wire to replace Brandon Graham. Charles Harris. He'll at least give you the production, or more Than Hunt. All I get in my cable package is Philadelphia local news. I live in a household of Eagles fans in South Jersey. So there's not much about that team that I don't hear.

Refs do make bad calls. Refs don't say "Hey, we will call this rule for the Eagles but not the Cowboys".
