Justin Pugh - I remember when the giants drafted him in the 1st round - was a bust and didn't resign him, didn't even know he was still in the league.

Cardinals signed him to a 5 yr 45 million deal as a free agent although it looks like he got 36 million of it. Probably was counting incentives in the announcement.

OTC shows they renegotiated it after three years.

It does mean much. That is why they are where they are. The Phillies are the hottest team left. It is not about the regular season. It is getting hot in the playoffs. Philly has home field throughout the playoffs. They will be tough.
