thats not true at all. Zimmer's contract was up when parcells left so Zimmer went to atlanta when we hired wade.

The players respected Zimmer, it was Parcells that wouldn't allow Zimmer to call and run the defense as he saw fit

Mike zimmer hasn't been on the sideline of a playoff win as a coach since 1996. If he was here people would find 50 things to complain about with him just like they do garrett.

I have no doubt about that but I don't think Zimmer would put up with Jerry's crap like Garrett does...Garrett is just happy to have the job, I think Zimmer wants to win and build a legacy.....

Very unimpressed with Rodgers right now. The Vikings defense can't be that good. Packers offense has been atrocious. Newman did everything in his power to get them their touchdown

I think AP has reached the apex of his career, a lot of miles on those treads,,, but I think Dez is a very good receiver but I've always seen him as a 70 million glorified Posession receiver, he just lacks the quickness and break away burst speed to be an elite receiver

Same place every coach is, just trying to do their best amidst a very odd and poorly structured situation.

Zimmer's secondaries got beat over and over for years here. He is a loud old school aggressive guy. He talks the way everyone loves a football coach to talk, but to act like he has had some sort of unachievable success is wrong and he would do nothing to slow jerry and stephen down. I would bet they would walk over him even more than they do garrett because he was here for so long as a young coach.

please. He was an assistant here for years, he coached the secondary under campo and gailey and then parcells kept him here as the only coach he wanted when he took over.

Its always so convenient how zimmer said parcells wouldn't let him call his defense the way he wanted then everywhere else he has been the defense has been very similar.
