There tends to be less fans from opposing teams in the playoffs since it can't be planned in advance so everything is a lot more expensive. Flights hotels things like that on short notice gets pricey

Yes I went back and looked at both years, you are correct. I just looked at opponents the first time but not if home or away.

Which makes since now, as I was working out of town in Houston at the time and sold my tickets….maybe some SF fan bought them.
