The long FG is so under appreciated. I wish they would starting giving kickers more credit for kicks over 50 yards... worth 5pts...60yrds = 6pts.

That would really change the game. Less punts, more scoring. XFL should try it.

I gotta give the Browns GM credit for outside the box thinking...."If I can just change the color scheme just enough...maybe I can blind the other team...and they won't be able to see us coming."

So if a team is trying a 48 yard FG, and down by 4 points, do they take a delay of game and try a 53 yarder for 5 points to win. Instead of having to go for a Hail Mary?
They will never pass that in the NFL.

A team should not be rewarded with more points for not scoring a TD and taking a FG instead.

Your assuming that the kick is made...It's a high risk play...that could have consequences if the kick is missed. Your giving up field position if you miss...don't forget that.
