Chris has come a long way since he first got into broadcasting. Let's hope Troy can follow in his footsteps. I am serious when I say that.

Chris was one of the very few that actually stood up for Dez in his 1st few years. When everyone in the media, NFLN, BSPN always bad mouthed him, and still do at times. With one WR it's passion, with Dez, he's selfish...blah, blah. But Chris was saying from day one pretty much. That give him some time to mature, it is not what it seems, give it time that he will be fine.

Yes he says off the wall stuff now and then, but who doesn't.

Just stop it with the Troy bashing please
Some of you can't handle it because he "dares" to be honest
Troy is a great commentator
I'd listen to Troy over collinsworth any day

Troy goes out of his way to question good calls that go in the cowboys favor. He does it in almost every cowboys game that he covers. Just because you are so blinded because of your love for the rings he brought us, doesn't change that.

It's not so much that I don't like Cris Collingsworth...it's that I can't take his voice for 3 hours especially if the Cowboys aren't playing well.

As far as Troy? He's a fine commentator but I'm not a fan of Joe Buck. I find myself enjoying Troy more during those few weeks in October when Buck is off doing baseball.

Who is bashing Troy, I am just being honest also.
I actually don't mind Aikman, but I tell it like he announces it.

Yep, Troy is particularly hard on the Cowboys. I understand why. Yet you always see him at Cowboy events and hanging out with Jerry and Cowboys peeps. He still is a Cowboy.

Collinsworth is a pretty good color guy. He has a lot of good insights. His voice and delivery can be a little grating at times and I don't think he prepares all that much, but I could sit around a table at a game with him and have a great conversation.

Take your rose colored glass off and put the pom poms down, Troy calls it the way he see's it, that''s what he's paid to do and that's the reason he's one of the best in the game.....if you can't handle that truth, watch someone else!!

Troy actually more or less said that Collinsworth taught him everything he knows in the booth, so it's not an insult for one to say he hopes Troy can be like him.

Joe Buck is a turnoff for me.

He projects a superior personality about everything..

from football to boxing to baseball.

Howard Kosell he ain't.

Can't wait until they phase him out.

Buck is, quite simply, the Webster's definition of douchebag.

His golf announcing is especially bad. He is good at baseball though.

I never got the angst toward Collinsworth. The guy works hard and does research. Adds plenty to the broadcast.

He and Aikman do, however, way overuse the phrase "here's a guy......."

I think all the first-team announcer crews are excellent: Al Michaels-Cris Collingsworth, Joe Buck-Troy Aikman, and Jim Nantz-Tony Romo. Fortunately as Cowboys fans this is what we usually get, the A-teams, due to the Cowboys' popularity and high tv ratings. You want to talk about bad start listening to the 3rd or 4th team broadcasters. That is what most of the rest of the fans get week in and week out. We have nothing to complain about.

I like Buck. He seems like a guy who is comfortable with himself and that comes off as acting superior to some people. He admitted to a hair plug obsession and being overly critical of how he looked in the past, that doesn't come off as a guy acting superior to me. He was also good in the show Brockmire and showed a willingness to poke fun at his persona. I think if we got to know him he'd be a good dude to hang with.

Then again, I've run outta fingers and toes counting the number of people that think I'm a ******.

his speech impediment can get annoying. He turns the letter S into SH constantly. You can play a drinking game and every time he says PASSH RUSH you take a drink. Youll pass out

Fingers and toes.?

OK..count Buck's hairplugs if you run out of digits.

I try to avoid him but it's hard with him and Troy paired up.

The Cowboys appear so much now..

he's always around.
